Just checking in.

Just checking in.

I thought I'd start a discussion where we can check in with members and use this space to keep in contact. It's a space to be able to say how you really feel and it's a space for the good, the bad and the ugly moments in our lives.

Re: Just checking in.

..had similar things happen on visits before, but its all ramped up while have been away, and thankyou. Have let go verbally in the past when got overloaded, I made a decision, ok, after felt cornered, and took my lumps by staying there and giving an explanation that I knew would be demanded lol @utopia and thanks, they think they are all doing the right thing, but ..honestly .. just unaware re blindspots .. any hoo ..and thanks you so much ..I will get through, it was potential damage control re leaving,I was overloaded ..anyway its done. Gawd I thought I was hard on myself lol, apparently others are harder on me.. time for 'me' to step in methinks ..

Re: Just checking in.

I told you last night @TAB forum cafe closed for the holidays!!! lol

Well - it is you - I'll open just this once- bowl of flat whiteon it's virtual way - would you like a side bowl of Whiskas Ocean Fish with that?

I'm doing ok. Still very tired though. Had meds last night to help sleep but didn't work - happens sometimes. Put on some music and got all the way through - then NO MORE MUSIC - bugger - still awake! Very frustrating. Going to have to sleep today some time 'cos can't function being this tired!

Hopefully will warm up this afternoon and can take Toby to the beach - that seems to help me the most!

How are you today? Did you go back to family last night?

Re: Just checking in.

yeah when meds dont work, its time for a break from meds think .. @Zoe7 ..body gets too used to them ..

er, thanks, and smoked salmon will be just fine.. ..havent gone back, I booked a motel anyway its not making much sense atm, not comfortable here or there.. Will give brain the day off and ponder situation tomorrow

Re: Just checking in.

@TAB Out of smoked salmon but do have some roast chicken - will that suffice?

It does depend on how much is going on in my head and how agitated I still am when trying to get to sleep - most nights can get 5 or 6 hours on meds. If I don't have anything don't get any sleep at all!

Good idea to give your brain a break - don't need to make sense of anything for a while - just BE! What are you going to do for yourself today?

Re: Just checking in.

Re: Just checking in.

this happens to me - I cant open my eyelids because medicated but my eyeballs are trying to escape - get up eventually and feel awful during the day.
I keep a close eye on this (pun) as I went 3 weeks without any sleep, depression dreadful, hospitalised and didn't get any medication that worked until 4th week. was told also suffering from fatigue. dr explained had a sleep debt to repay. so don't let it go on to long. hope that makes sense xxx

Re: Just checking in.

@TAB sometimes we just need to escape the outside world completely and do nothing! Sounds like one of those days for you!

@Former-Member now that feeling well! I did get a few hours christmas night so not too worried atm. Didn't go to beach yesterday - too tired and too overcast! Need to go today if I can to get out of my head a bit. Think was just too wound up last night. Part of my problem sleeping is based around trauma that happened when I was asleep (was asleep when it started anyway) so when those memories are triggered I fight really hard not to sleep - fear takes over! Does that make sense?
