FIrst of all they put my neck out with idiotic soopa cold a/c. WHich they claim off their tax. Kept dropping little tests, like how far would I travel, how much time would I put in, what leverage they did or did not have with Centrelink, but they could not give support if I was developing a business and used an ABN.

They told me that the voluntary ones were older new start, I am not sure if you fit that bill.

I did some research and told them off for sending out letters which were legally incorrect and generated panic, and that as I used to work for tax and Centrelink I did not think silly emotional blackmailling attitudes were responsible to real people with real disabilities.

I am in a more secure position than you, in many ways, but my anxiety reached excruciating levels, so I quit after 3 weeks. I was lucky, it was totally generated by me, no obligation. I did it in good will, so now I will put them down as mainly after govt dollars, without a sufficient service to offer.

I really hope your appointment goes well. It may be a better organisation.

@Appleblossom I do think it’s part of the system too. The gov puts out tenders and the best cut throat businesses win. The staff turn over is really high and there is no job security for their workers either. I don’t envy those at the coal face. I’m not sure about the place I’m going to. I think for me it’s a people thing first. Mine is not voluntary at all.

@CheerBear Thanks for the offer of company. I’m not much fun and I think will take meds and head to bed. I’ve been wondering how the other people in your life are getting on. I’d imagine you are still being kept on your toes with that too both emotionally and logistically. I’ll check for a check in the morning, although it may be closer to midday 😳:face_with_rolling_eyes:
