not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

OMG hubby came home earlier from being out all day. He has a cold. He is huffing and puffing and giving me the sh*ts. I need to not take it in. My daughter said to him "men are real sooks when they're sick". I was laughing to myself 😊
I've starting knitting a baby blanket. When I finish it I will show you all on here.

Ah @BlueBay

Men ARE such sooks when they are sick - everyone keep away from the huffin and puffin and let him know he can keep his cold to himself

Re: not feeling good

Things have changed a lot since we suddenly had our adopted baby 47 years ago

We had a bath and I had two children so that was worth it and I used it to cart the baby around the house when she was sitting up - 2.5 years later - she was so sociable she wanted to see what I was doing all the time.

My kids wore nighies until they started crawling and Mum knitted jackets in advance for my son and dd had special doll sized jackets when she was born premmie - Mum knitted those too

The cots - one was small and one was large - and both were passed around the family - from us then to our cousins and back for our kids and back to our second cousins I think

But the night we brought our son home he had to go out and by more bottles and sterilizing stuff and formula - and whatever else - I have no idea what that cost - it was chaos

But nappies - back in 1970 disposable nappies were terrible - I had some free samples - useless - using them was my habit and I didn't know any other way - but I can't imagine what disposables cost

But why not - it's better to spend time with your kids that wash their yukky nappies - wow - for that time when they insist on rolling over - and yes - I did try and pin the nappies on backwards - didn't work - well now - you can get pull-up nappies

Take the line of least resistance - it has to be worth it when you think of the water and detergent and napisan and electricity.

BTW - I only had a twin tub washer at first - that was the pits

Enjoy yourselves though

Hi @utopia@Owlunar@Faith-and-Hope@Zoe7@Former-Member

Yesterday I had an appt with my new psychologist. I hadn't seen her for about a month as she was away caring for her sick mum. But in that time I was seeing a mental health nurse which wasn't too great.

We talked about the session where I had the mental health nurse and i had dissociated. She read the notes left for her.

We talked about what was happening since last seeing her. I told her we didn't sell our house, our bank accounts were hacked, our sons went to Bali, my dad had his 80th birthday last friday and our daughter is pregnant!!!

She said wow so much has happened. She said to me that she noticed that i am a lot calmer than before; which is a good thing. i told her i have cut back on my anti depressant and my psych is happy with that. i told her i am taking some natural therapy powder to balance my hormones made by a naturopath. And that i feel things are shifting. And i am also taking a liver detox. She was happy with me taking the natural remedies and said she normally would't say this to patients if she didn't mean it - but i am looking good.

I told her our sex life has gone and i am not really sure if i can go back there, She suggested that we start again with date nights. I told her i was organising a movie at the cinemas with hubby tonight (last night) and she said that was a good start. And to put on a calendar once a month you both go out but next month it will be hubby's turn. i also told her i would like to go away for a weekend every now and then and she suggested yes that's a great idea as well.

she suggested that we start getting our relationship back on track before the baby comes along as things will change again for us.

So when i got home i started to circle the calendar, said to hubby that we are going to movies and that next month he can organise whatever (dinner, movies, picnic) but he has to organise it. So calendar ready and circled - let's see what huff and puff can do!!! 🙂

My psychologist also said that now is the time to start thinking of my own family and our grandchild coming. i don't need to think of the past with regards to my parents. i do understand what she means but tyhe hurt is still there and tht is the bit that i am stuck.

think i need to work with her on this more.

anyway i better go to work, i just wanted to let you all know how things are going. i really hope you are all okay, you all had a good night sleep last night and that today brings lots of joy and peace.

Take care and chat later xxxooo
