not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Hi BB @BlueBay . You will be ok my sis. You have a lot to deal with atm and no wonder you're tired. I'm glad your hubby suggested that you leave today because you were upset.

Perhaps talking to someone about your mother in law might help. I always try to put myself in other peoples shoes and if you were your MIL what do you think you would need. Sometimes playing music can help them too. Glad she has a little doll- its meant to have a postive effect - it decreases their stress and anxiety. I hope you're able to visit her again soon.

Last year my Dad was diagnosed with dementia he still in the early stages and it upsets me too because you just don't know what is going to happen. But I know I will always be there for him and do whatever I can to help him. I hate dementia too- I wish there was more effective treatments.

Thinking of you and sending you lots of love and hugs!!

Re: not feeling good

Thsnkyou sis @oceangirl We had my MIL live with us for 20 years. Big chunk of my married life. She was so kind and helped a lot around the house. Never interfered. And now to see her like this is just horrible. I’ve nrver gone through something like this before. When my father in law passed away it was very sudden. Massive heart attack at home and in an hour he was gone.

Seeing someone in bed who doesn’t recognise you anymore just lies there is the most heart breaking thing to see. 😢😢

im sorry your dad has start of dementia. He is lucky to have you as a daughter who will always be there for him and look after him. But also remember you still need to look after yourself. Over the years I had about 2-3 admissions because of the strain of looking after mil.

Life is such a bitch. 😢😢

just so emotional this mirning. Xxxxx

Re: not feeling good

That's a lot @BlueBay

It makes me exhausted to think about it

I don't know what to say about your MIL - my mother had some kind of dementia and snarled at people to "Git outa here" and one day I told her I had enough and wouldn't come back to listen to that. And I didn't. I wrote to her several times and sent cards but never heard anything. I guess it was up to her or my sister but alas - nothing

About your Mum's arthritic hands - I have that too and it's painful but I take strong pain medication for my spine so my hands get it too

But about pain - I hear you - my ex-h wouldn't take anything for headaches or bad colds - I told him take a tablet - even one little tablet - and I would care but stop complaining until he did. Eearch - I used to get so mad at him

I don't know what to suggest about your MIL - it's a tough issue -

Your mother - different story - maybe I can write something about that later - I read an earlier post of yours about your mother and I hear you - I am thinking about it - I something think for a long time - just know I am

Re: not feeling good

Aw @Shaz51

They are letting your mother go home when she is so frail and they are thinking of another bowel surgery - that really bothers me

Have you asked? - are they letting her go home because she is insisting because if she wants to go home then they have to let her even if she has to sign some kind of document that she is leaving against their advice - and they can't make her have an operation either - this is so hard on you

And if Mr Shaz has an operation on his shoulder that will take time to repair too - I know about shoulders - ouchie!! - and he will be super-anxious about that - but I also know he might have to wait a long time - I will be waiting to hear about it myself

And as your second Mum I am concerned about your health - taking care of your Mother will be really hard for you - I hope you can manage this - Stage 4 kidney disease can't be easy to work with and with all this stress

Your Mum doesn't want to take too many pain tablets - I understand that - neither do I - but she needs to take enough for her to be able to walk after her hip replacement.

But you know all of this - what can I say? What can we say? What can you do?

Your mother has a mind of her own and her rights. This is a hard time for you - sorry - I already said that

Caring heaps
