not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

@eudemonism @BlueBay @Bunniekins @saturnzoon @Zoe7 @Former-Member @MDT Thanks for post. I had a bit of peace last night. Woke with thoughts from psychology session. That I had been object of desires and emotional needs of my father. And he directly caused my psychotic illness with repeated traumatic invasions when I was in my twenties.

I still have to live on. This morning, I will try to do some exercises. My weight a big problem. Thanks for the forum that I have somewhere to be cared for and supported.

Wish everyone a nice day.

Thanks agagin.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @saturnzoon

You really must feel isolated when you have so much trouble talking to people - introverted and lonely and it doesn't get any easier. You need a friend - I understand that but it will be difficult if you seem to fail when you try and start a conversation and can't -

So alone - even with your kids

It really doesn't help - does it? - when people tell you to snap out of it. btw - people who can are never told that because who wants to be tangled up in their emotions? They just don't understand and there's not much point in trying to tell them because they don't know - and it would leave your feeling empty when you try because they really don't get it - how can they?

But what about you - in your late 50s and feel it's getting worse. I actually don't know what to suggest - I think you just need to be able to talk to someone who understands. I haven'tf read enough of what you have written to remember now if you are seeing a therapist. If you are that person may be able to help

I hear you though - I was at my doctor's clinic when a lady came in very uspet - they were all to busy to help because the waiting rooms were crowded - they were kind and gave her some suggestions - I caught her eye and she sat with me for a moment and I hope it helped that I listened to her for a few minutes and lent her my phone so she could get in touch with some agency that really helped.

It didn't cost me anything and I can say that being here on Sane Forums gave me the few words to say - so I have mentioned this to ask - is this what you need? Someone to listen some times?- to hear you?- to understand even for a few minutes?

All the best Saturnzoon - keep in touch here and although we are namesless and invisible we do care - I care - a lot

Re: not feeling good

@Owlunar Hey, hope you are having a good morning. Seen psychologist two days ago does mean it is getting deep. Hard to lose mum now realizing how much she was my tower and strength when I was young, down and not able.

Life is hard.

Reality is tough.

I feel down at the moment.

@BlueBay @eudemonism @Bunniekins @saturnzoon @Zoe7 @Former-Member @MDT need to think ways to pick myself up.

Re: not feeling good

@eudemonism get the feeling if we are not ready ourselves, even if we meet supportive accepting people face to face, it won’t work or last.

Because no one can do the actual work for us. We all have our trials and issues. We will have to work through them with support and care from the forum.

Think when we reach place of more solid grounding in ourselves, we can have more mutually supportive, accepting face to face long term relationships.

Wish you a good day.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Meowmy

You are right - life can be hard and reality can be tough and for you this is the case atm - and you feel down right now and as battle-weary as you must be at times it is okay - we do not have to be happy every minute - we don't have to be unhappy all the time either

Ways to pick yourself up - start with a cup of whatever you enjoy - tea, coffee, hot chocolate - sit down and collect your thoughts - sort out the important stuff from the stuff that can wait.

Actually - I find it really hard if someone suggests I do something special for myself because I have that worked into my life rather well - so it's important to give yourself a treat from time to time - whatever works for you.

Your exercises seem to be important - I suggest you keep these up - and join the forum here as you have been and keep in touch with people who do understand how difficult life can be sometimes

Your mother is an issue for you that you have for the duration - my mother had some kind of dementia - no one in the family filled me in on her state or condition and I told her I had enough of being growled at and wasn't intending to visit and have more of it but I wrote to her for well over two years and told her I would like to see her if she wanted to see me and sent my phone numbers. I never heard from her. I understand you have the care of your mother and this must be difficult with her developing dementia - so this is an area of life other people can help you with more than me I think - but I do understand how aging parents can drain our resources

All the best Meowmy - I do love your user name btw - I have wanted to say that

Re: not feeling good

Caring for your mother and the feeling your have lost both parents is a lonely feeling @Meowmy

And really hard if you have trouble with arithmetic - the accounts must be difficult for you - I wonder if you could do a short course at TAFE and learn to manage your finances

It doesn't have to be a course in bookkeeping - just learning how to add and subtract if you missed out at school and how to read accounts which is harder than it used to be because everyone creates their own invoices and once everything you needed to read was in the same place but now now -

What is your main problem with your accounts? Is it that you just don't have the cash to pay them or is it something you have not had to do before - I understand it must be confronting - I may be able to help you with the terminolog - it's not nearly as confronting if you understand the documents you are reading
