not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Did he say why?

Many of us forum users have needed to limit our use of the forum in some way. If I spend too much time on here I get annoyed with myself for not doing other things.

Re: not feeling good

Awww @BlueBay , I am so sorry.

I think that is such an individual thing .... as to whether an online forum is good for someone, or not. Only you can be the best judge of that I believe. Can you ask yourself a few questions and see what you come up with?

For example:

Does it make you feel less alone among peers by posting and/or reading on the forums?

Does it enable you to get things off your chest in a safe and non-judgemental place?

Do you find the advice and support you receive here helpful and reassuring?

Did you explain to your psych what the forums mean to you? Did your psych suggest you only come here occasionally, or to cut back entirely? Either way ... although you may feel abandoned right now, the truth is that you haven't been. You still have everyone here for you any time you choose to come here. Whether that is daily, weekly, monthly or rarely.

Re: not feeling good

@Meowmy I'm good at picking up on people's energy/vibes... especially when I'm face to face with them... it's not always the best of situations to be caught in... because it's quite confronting... i actually fear/avoid being in this predicament... especially when I'm not feeling well... but ultimately unless i lock myself away forever I've got to face it eventually...

@eudemonism Nice to hear you again. I think when you get better, which you will, with time, you will adjust to new meds. And you will gradually learn to interact to people without feelings of being introverted. That you will become comfortable with people. I used to stress with face to face meeting people. Some of them give me vibes to not want to include me. I learn to talk myself into ration. That these people do to every one, not just me.

I think, work on being comfortable with yourself. Gradually you will enjoy connecting with positive people.

@Former-Member @Zoe7 @MDT @Owlunar @Bunniekins @outlander I am home after a long day. Mum is ok, a little confused, but doing her own cooking. Seen my psychologist. Feel a bit sad. For all my life, always felt my father enclosing me physically against my will even after his death. Now feel bits of him falling off me. I am a bit more myself. Really want to get fit. Life long aspiration but massively pulled down by my father. Hope to ease to some exercises after a cuppa. Thanks to you all for care and support.

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay In the past I tried to move away from the forum and then I realised how much I needed and appreciated everyone here. This forum is like online family. People who understand and care. Maybe the psych should have a look before he/she judges and even then it is horses for courses what works for some doesn't work for others.

Re: not feeling good

I’m a big failure. My BPD thinking, behaviour and ways has ruined me. It’s my fault.

My psych said thst I am too dependent on people - my doctor by seeing him fortnightly; the Sane forum because I go on every night and my psychologist.

He said I need to start using distress tolerance and not be so black and white

I explained that I go on the forum to chst to others who are like minded. He said nit everyday. He suggested once a month!!!

I then got so angry eith him and told him I feel like been abandoned and I’ll have no one to talk to or vent to.

He said I am far too dependent.

I left and drove off and sobbed.

He then had the nerve to charge me $260 for half an hour instead of 15 mins.

I was shocked and angry so I emailed his office to say I didn’t ask for a 1:2 hour appt and thst he should have told me it would cost more. I’m waiting fir reply.

I feel very alone lost emotional.

Maybe I need to ring my doctor and apologise to him for been too dependent on him.

This is so tough. I don’t know if I can keep going.
