not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Yeah @frog that’s it 😊 I couldn’t put the book down. Truly inspiring books from both guys.

Yes i think you’re right about Osher been an ambassador for Sane. How lucky is Sane.

Have you read any other autobiographies?

I find it hard to read books but somehow I don’t with autobiographies.

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay That Ahn Do book was hilarious. When we went to America a few years ago I bought the book at the airport as a last minute buy to read on the plane - I must have looked a complete idiot because I was laugh out loud hysterical the whole flight 🤣🤣

It sounds like you might get some answers regarding the pain you have been having, at least with tests ordered you can feel like you are being listened to, I really hope it’s an issue that can be resolved quickly and easily.

I hope you are able to get some more restful sleep than you have been getting. Small things become exaggerated when you don’t sleep well, something I find happenening to me a lot, when I’m tired the smallest thing seems to set me right off and everything becomes so overwhelming.

Your last few messages sounded a lot calmer and more positive, I really hope that means you feel a lot calmer and less overwhelmed. You have been in my thoughts a lot lately, I’m really glad you sound happier today ❤️❤️

Ha ha same here @Razzle i bought mine at the airport. I was crying while reading the book in the plane. I remember hubby looking over and asking what’s wrong. It was the book!!

have you read any other books you can recommend?

had blood test before. Specialist will see results tomorrow and will come snd chat with me.

I firgot to mention that he is so good looking. Omg such a beautiful guy. Very professional and caring and explains things. But it’s his eyes thst were hard to nit look at. It was a bit difficult. Even the nurses think he is gorgeous. They kept saying how lucky I was to have him. Another nurse said he is one of the best gastroenterologist around here.

So that’s good to know.

But so funny 😂

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay Haha, the best medicine is the kind that’s delivered by a hunky doctor 😍😍🤣.

I LOVE reading, I read all kinds of books, I love mysteries, real page turners. I have read every Lee Child book and Jodie Piccoult book ever written. I like reading autobiographies, but on funny people, not serious ones. I read Dawn French’s book, I like her humour. There is a series of books written by Janet Evanovich that start with One for the Money, then Two for the Dough, Three to get Deadly, Four to Score, she’s up into the Twenties now - they are about a woman bounty hunter (she kind of fell into the job) and has a kick arse grandmother - the books are laugh out loud hysterical !! 😁😁

Fingers crossed you get good results on your medical tests 🤞🤞

❤️❤️

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay. I'm really pleased to hear that you are being well looked after while in hospital. Hoping they can get to the root of any problems you have. Oh wow, you are lucky with both the quality of your new gastroenterologists expertise and care and his looks by the sound of things. Definitely a bonus!

I was interested to read about you and @Razzle book preferences. Hi also to @frog @soft_edges.

I am definitely a big fan of Ahn Doh. He's a fantastic artist as well as comedian and author. Have you seen any of his portrait series which show on TV? Its called Ahn Do's Brush With Fame. He is so clever! If you get a chance to see the show, its well worth while. He paints famous peoples portraits while interviewing them. I havent read his book The Happiest Refugee, but believe its very good. As is evidenced by the critiques of you good people here too. Definitely a book I would like to read.

I have read the Dawn French book "Dear Fatty", and found it very good. Yes Razzle, I too like her brand of humour. I have also read a number of Lee Child books, and do like a good mystery story.

BlueBay I hope all those tests come back with good results. And with luck, any physical issues can be quickly remedied. Then you will be better equipped to concentrate on getting the MH issues under control.

I hope you manage a better, less painful, sleep tonight.

Sherry 🧡💤

Hi @Razzle

I’ve read only a few of Jodie Picoult books. I remember reading one that was so sad. Can’t remember the name. I should read her other books.

Hope you are doing ok. ❤️

Morning @Former-Member

Yes u have seen Anh’s show on tv. Only a few and they were so good. He is a very talented man.

I would love to see him live. He did a few shows a while ago in Melbourne but we couldn’t go. Next time he’s in Melbourne I will try to go.

Another sleepless night. But I’ll try to have a Sleep this arvo.

@Former-Member I know it’s been really difficult for you this month. I want to say Thankyou fir supporting and chatting with me.

Pls take care ❤️❤️

@BlueBay @Former-Member

I was lucky enough to see Ahn Do live last year when he did his show, it was so funny !! I remember the first time I ever saw him on tv, he was performing at Melbourne comedy festival, and every time he cracked a joke he laughed at himself - and even though some swear words have their place, he never swore once - he’s just a genuinely funny guy. I loved him especially because he would laugh at his own jokes.

I have seen a couple of episodes of him painting celebrities, he is very talented.

Sorry to hear you had another sleepless night @BlueBay , I can sympathise today, I was pretty restless all night last night too. I have an appointment with my councillor today, like you I’m a little scared to assert myself but I’m not happy with something he said in my couples session and I need to get it out there in the open. Also, 2 nights ago I had another dream/flash back that has kind of knocked the wind out of me - not exactly a recipe for a restful sleep. Today’s session is in his home town, so a 540km round trip, after last night I think there will be a few stops on the way home. Good luck with your test results today ❤️❤️

Re: not feeling good

Omg @Razzle 540 km round trip!!

Thsts a huge day for you.

I hope you can be assertive. I know how hard it is. But if you can let your counsellor know how your feeling about what happened in last session it will be a positive step.

Thinking of you today ❤️❤️
