not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

@Jupiter @Faith-and-Hope @Shaz51

I'm trying very hard to stay busy and not get caught up in my dark thoughts. At the moment I am getting dinner ready. It's not easy thing to do, but I will try my hardest.

This fear of abandonment is still playing on my mind. I know what you said last night @Zoe7 that you and the others on here won't abandon me and you also said that my professional suppot team wouldn't abandon me - trouble is i don't believe it. i still believe that they will abandon me - and i can't have them do that. the thought of this happening is so huge i can't explain how big the thought is. it is worrying me so much, i have been panicking to the point of feeling sick in my stomach. I even think that my doctor will say to me - ok you are now better, you don't need to come and visit me or you don't need to call me anymore, that's it. that can't happen, no way, i can't be abandoned again.

you see, when i told my mum 7 yrs ago about my abuse, she abandoned me a second time, by saying well you live your life and we'll live ours (as i was walking out the door in a hysterical mess)

she never once tried to stop me leaving, she never once tried to console me when i was crying as i was talking to her; she never once gave me a hug and said i'ts okay i love you, you didn't deserve to go through the sexual abuse as a child, as our baby. she never once gave me a kiss and said sorry.

so in my eyes i was abandoned yet again by my parents, by my mum - the people who should have protected me, who should have loved me all the way, who should have cared and nurtured me all my childhood life - but no they didn't.

that's why i feel abandoned.

i lost it all, i lost a lot during my childhood. so why should i live now? why? what's the point?

i so deserve a hug, love care and nuture, i deserve a caring mum to say sorry, to say i love you. i deserve a dad to put hhis arms around me and take care of me.

i deserve a lot from them - and yet all i got was verbal abuse and yelling from her.

i am shaking, i am sobbing, it's not fair, life sucks, life is shit,

maybe i should just go ahead and do something - then see what they would say - would they feel guilty? i wonder what they would say? then again i wouldn't be here to hear it would I? would they feel guilty, would they feel remorse, sorrow, guilty - i hope they never ever forget what happened to me as a child and i hope they suffer for what they never did or cared for their child - me. 😞

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay ..... you are right about one thing you are saying .... you did deserve a childhood ..... you did deserve a loving family to take care of you ...... you do deserve a hug, many hugs, and huge apologies for not having been there for you to protect you and comfort you and nurture you as a child ..... and you deserve those same things now.

It is you family’s inability to give it that means you are not receiving it ...... nothing to do with how much you deserve it ..... and I hope you can recognise this difference ...... the fault, the inability lies with them. More than that, they need counselling and treatment as much as you do, because they still can’t recognise, can’t acknowledge the wrong that was done to you ......

Stay with your supports and treatment @BlueBay ...... keep working towards getting better ...... but know that that need help and counselling and support as well, because what they didn’t do is as much an illness as what you are battling as a result of all this.

Hugs n hugs n hugs n hugs Hon.

We’re here with you and for you as you keep moving forward. There is healing to be had ..... stay on the course ..... keep that goal in sight. Others have done it, you can get through too .....

Thsnks for the prezzie @Faith-and-Hope
I'm at a point where I think - why can't my parents love me. What have I done wrong to deserve this emotionsl abuse. It's horrible.
I think I'm that little girl still acting out as the little girl who wants the love care nurture and attention. Something I never got.
Is it bad thst I want it all now. I'm an adult yet I want it so badly.
Taking revenge - why do I want to get back st my parents. I want them to hurt as much as I hzve snd still am.
I have a session with my psychologist on Thursday it will be an interesting session. I need to open snd honest with her. Even about the abandonment issues I have. She needs to know.
I find the nights harder when I go to bed I get teary snd hug my pillow and cry. I cry so much. I find the darkness scares me st times. And the quietness of the night. My head starts to wander snd tells me things.

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay ..... it’s not actually strange at all.

Part of the validation of our self-esteem comes from the love and care and sense of belonging that we would ordinarily receive from our parents growing up.

Some parents can’t give that for a variety of reasons, and generally, (I am guessing, happy to be corrected) it is because they have an mi issue .... whether it is unresolved, untreated PTSD from a trauma in their own childhood or adulthood ..... or a personality disorder ..... or mood disorder ..... or something.

That means we are left short. We need that love and self-esteem, but those who would normally be responsible for providing it are unable to, and it leaves us experiencing confusion and pain, unresolved in us until we can talk it through with a therapist, and help resolve those empty, unfulfilled feelings through our adult relationships, and by allowing our adult selves to communicate with our inner child ..... effectively we have to go back through our childhood memories and “re-parent” ourselves to feel healed.

Mental health professionals are the ones trained to help us do that.

That is why it is important to be honest and open with them about how we are feeling, and go through the processes they recommend towards our wellness.

@Faith-and-Hope
My parents don't have a mental illness. My mum stayed home to look us kids and never worked. My dad worked hard for his family. My mum was always a bit strange always fighting with my dad. She would always argue with him. He would always give in to please her and he still does. She is very domineering and manipulative.
I think I'm going to head to bed. I'm a bit fragile st the moment. So much going on.

Re: not feeling good

There might have been something in her childhood that left her feeling like she had to do that @BlueBay .......

It is a lot to have to come to terms with ......

If you are feeling very tired and overwhelmed, sleeping is a good way to take a rest from it all.

Hugs @BlueBay ....... sitting with you ......
