not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Hi @utopia@Faith-and-Hope@Former-Member@Phoenix_Rising

can't remember if i told you but i can't do the DBT program through the public hospital system. i was assessed last monday and the program is only on a wednesday. i work on a wednesday and if i get a new job i won't be able to do it.

so they suggested i try two private hosptials one is an hour away from home; the other is 45 mins away.

i know i need to do the DBT as it would help me. it's just getting in to a place and starting.

i had a bit of a melt down on friday morning, called my GP who spoke for a while and suggested I call the CAT team. He wanted me to go back to hospital but i refused.

i called the CAT team and spoke to the clinician who helped me come up with some strategies on how to stay safe for the day.

that's my problem i can't work these things out on my own; i need others to hlep me; to guide me; to say it's okay you will be alright. it's so dumb.

Re: not feeling good

Not dumb @BlueBay but just the way it is for now.
I'm sure once you do the DBT course - you will be able to self regulate and won't need to rely on others so much.
I don't think it should matter how far the hospital is to do the DBT weekly. The point is it will help you.
I used to drive 1 & 1/2 hours on a 110km freeway to see the therapist who did my EMDR therapy. And for most of that my broken leg was in a cast and my mum had to drive me.
It was so worth it in the end.
Have you looked up the employment agencieswho can help you with a job? That might be a task for today.

Hi @utopia

I've been getting lots of headaches lately and now my GP thinks he may refer me to a neurologist. I have had a CT scan and it was all clear. I am really scared and stressed that it is something bad and serious.

The headaches are on one side of my head and down to my neck. was thinking that maybe my neck is out and i should see my chiro. don't know. i am so scared.

I need to find out where my local job agencies are and give them a call. And last night i got an email back from one of the jobs i had applied - i didn't get the job. But it's the the job i really wanted so that's okay. The one i really want - i haven't heard back yet. So fingers crossed.

Re: not feeling good

Sorry you are having such bad headaches @BlueBay. But glad the scan was all clear. Thatsshould put your mind at rest that it is nothing bad.
There is such a thing as stress headaches. That could be why your headaches have increased recently.
It might help to practice some relaxation techniques.
My boy comes home today from his holiday on Nepal. I'm getting a bit anxious about seeing him. I really want to see him, but I'm nervous too.
I was hoping my mood would have improved while je was away. But it hasn't. And the house is still a mess. I wanted him to come home to a clean house.

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. I didn't go to the airport to pick up my son. Mum and his gf have gone. I'm not well. I'm so anxious and feeling off. Nothing feels right. My son will be home around 9pm tonight.
I'm sorry but I can't help you now. I'm too rattled myself to think.

@BlueBay I hope you are conversing with @Former-Member via email right now - just letting you know I am thinking of you - and often do - even when I am not around much
