not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Hi @Zoe7@Shaz51@utopia@Faith-and-Hope@Former-Member and others reading

I am going back into hospital tomorrow.

My mood declined dramatically over the past weeks and my GP was worried about me. I had to ring my psych and he made an urgent appt to see him. When i saw him he rang the hospital to put me in but was told there was a 1-2 week waiting list. he put my name on the list. Two days later i got a phone call to say come in on Monday. my psych also said he wants the CAT team involved and also wants me to have a case manager so he will inform them. He also wants me to see a mental health nurse who works with him and to see her only in the interim until i get to see my new psychologist on the 18 Dec.

Everything was happening and it was all too much for me. i told him i have been crying for no reason at night, was thinking of taking a whhole lot of meds and didn't care about life anymore. he was concerned and that's why i am going into hospital.

so if i don't write on here for a while it's because i am away again. last wednesday wasn't good, i rang my GP and told him i was going to take something and he said if i did he would have to escalate it and call the police and he made me realise that if he did it would have a lot of consequences later. he ended up calming me down and i was okay. since then i have had the CAT team call me to check on me, i had to see my psych and had to call my GP.

i am such a mess at the moment. i am so confused in the head and very slow. also my pysch increased a medication 3 times the amount i was taking. big jump - that's why i am feeling so slow.

talk to you all soon.

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. Sorry to hear you're not doing so well at the moment but so glad you have got a spot in hospital. You did right to ring and tell them you weren't well.
That's good self care.
Some time in hospital and a look into your medications and you'll be feeling better again.
Sending you my love. ♥

Re: not feeling good

I agree @BlueBay .... well done for stepping up like that. It’s all part of your recovery journey. Every time you lose your balance, you need help to get back up again, then bit by bit you will learn the skills, and balance the medications, to keep things on a steadier keel. Meanwhile the healing work needs to go on with therapy sessions.

Keep up the good work @BlueBay .... you will get there .... baby steps all the way Hon. You’re doing it ....

Re: not feeling good

Hi @utopia@Faith-and-Hope@Shaz51@Zoe7

I am home from hospital, i came home yesterday. It was a short stay 8 days. I knew it was going to be a short stay. We added a new medication into the mix and it seemed to be working and has eased my moods. There is still room for improvement with the medication (increasing the dose) but for now it's okay.

I am back at work today (no rest for me) so i have to be ready and get back into it. I need to stay busy and distracted and when i have my quiet times just to sit with it and try very hard to be okay with that too.

I am seeing my new psychologist next Monday, hoping she is nice. She is quite experienced with PTSD and childhood abuse so i am hoping i have found the right therapist.

Also, after speaking with my psych in hospital we have decided that hubby and I need couple counselling. I had to bring up the subject with hubby and he finally agreed that he will come with me to see this new therapist. We see this guy the first week in January. I am so nervous about this but if I want my marriage to get better reg. communication and intimacy then i need to do something about it and so does hubby. It's not just me that needs help, he does too.

So lots of changes in one week, but hoping they will be positive ones for the year ahead.

I better go and get ready for work, starting at 10am. Wanted to pop in and say hello and that i am okay.

Take care everyone, chat soon

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. So glad to hear the new medication is working. Although a short stay, it seems like the trip to hospital has made a world of difference to you.
Couples counseling will be good. So pleased your husband has agreed to go. I think alot of marriages could do with some refreshing regarding communication. Good on you for making the appointment.
All is quiet here is country Victoria. Expecting 39° today. Already have the evaporative cooler on.
Hope you stay cool today. ♥
