not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Zoe7

It is CRAZY where I live at the moment. Tourists, tourists and more tourists. Not going anywhere near the beach at the moment. Wouldn't even find a carpark.

So i am staying inside with the air con on and hubby is about to go and get pizza.

Do you know what? - i can't stop thinking how i was so bad yesterday. I was really bad, i haven't been this bad apart from last week for a long time.

Enjoy the beach with Toby.

Do you really think i achieved a lot this week? even though i still feel crap.

@Zoe7
Feel exhausted and very very flat.
I'm scared dissociation is happening again

Re: not feeling good

Hey buddy @BlueBay

Yes I do really think you have achieved a lot this week

You have made it through some really rough days.

You have put your house up for sale - scary YES but still a positive - you are looking forward and that is awesome

You went back to work - I'm not sure I can even do that yet!!

You tried to get out and go to the beach - it didn't go according to plan (tourists etc.) but you did try!

You met up with a friend!

You told your hubby about the side effects of coming off the meds!

You rang lifeline and the CAT team when you needed to!

And those are just the big things you did in your week!!!

You also made it through each day and come out the other side with just a little bit more strength than you had the day before!

So yes - my friend - you HAVE achieved a lot this week - I am very proud of you

Not every day is the best day you have ever had but they don't have to be. Keep putting one foot in front of the other and moving forward - bit by bit - baby steps.

I have faith in you and honestly admire your courage to reach out, ask for support and connect with others even when you are feeling at your lowest - THAT my friend takes inner strength.

Thankyou @Zoe7 for your kind words. And in believing in me. None of my family believe in me but hey I've got you and so many other forum family here. ❤️
I'm so exhausted think I need to sleep. I'm scared of a few things at the moment.

Re: not feeling good

@Zoe7 I think I better nod off. I'm feeling really anxious and just started getting nerve pain in my side (where I had shingles before)
I can't cope with everything going on at the moment. There is so much to do this weekend to get house tidy and decluttered for Mondays photos of house.
Why do I push myself so much. I'm so stupid.

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay You are definitely NOT stupid my friend - just a bit overwhelmed by what needs to be done - that's natural - selling your house and getting it ready is a big deal!! If you can, make a list of all the things you need to do over the weekend. Highlight the most important things to do first and the things that can really wait until after Monday. If this means throwing some things in a cupboard or boxes to store away for now to deal with later then do it!

Then get some sleep and your plan for the weekend will already be done. You can add to the list as you go but make sure that what you add is achievable. The photos they take will show the best possible sides of your house anyway - realtors are really good at doing that. So don't worry about the photos too much!

Tomorrow is another day and after some sleep you with have recharged your body a little bit. You've had a really long day - going back to work and your meeting - so take it easy on yourself tonight. After such a busy day it is natural to feel tired and flat.

Rest up my friend and tackle tomorrow when it gets here

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. I've never experienced dissociation. But I wonder what you've been taught by your mental health team - about how to try and prevent dissociation from happening - or maybe reduce its impact or strength.
Sorry for my ignorance on this subject.
Just hoping you know of some tools to try to help you through.
Thinking of you.

Re: not feeling good

Baby steps @BlueBay .... don't look at the whole mountain .... just look at the path in front of your feet .... navigate around the few rocks that are on the trail directly in front of you, and watch your footing as you go .... when you finally look up, you will find you are climbing that mountain and have come much further than you realised ..... then head down again and work the path directly in front of you ....

We are all mountain climbers here ....
