not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. You have some good things planned. Lentil & vegie soup. I love it. So warming and filling. Just what we need on a cold winters night.
I look forward to the picture of your almost finished shawl. And a new blanket for bub.
Typing to you about a soak in the bath - now I want one. But I got a tattoo last week, so bath tub soaking is out for a while longer.
I'm picking my son and one of his friends up from a sleepover party last night. Way out in the country. So a bit of a drive. After we drop off his friend, I'll talk to him again about at least coming home for an odd night - here and there. As he's still staying at my mums.

Hi @BlueBay 🙂

Wanted to pop in and let you know that I am around this afternoon, the Help Centre is also an option to contact if you feel that could be helpful either online chat or by phone.

You sound like you are enjoying your walks- I love walking too 🙂 and great to hear about your projects you have on the go at the moment, I can't wait to see them.

Self care and compassion for ourselves can be comforting and reassuring, I'm wondering what you might be able to implement? I'm opting for a healthy dinner, soaking my feet in warm water and painting my toe nails tonight.

Thinking of you

Re: not feeling good

Nice one @BlueBay I always like the feeling of having dinner organised before dinner time, I hope you all enjoy your soup tonight.

Rest those eyes, it's been a big day.

How was your walk? Sounds like you are working hard at challenging or distracting from thoughts and visions. Nice work. What distractions do you find helpful?

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. That was a good long walk. I'm sure it helped in many ways.
Have you called the gp to let him know you are okay at home?

Re: not feeling good

Hi @utopia @Former-Member

I did call my GP and told him i was fragile but okay. I told him i had called the CAT team and spoke to them about how i was feeling. He praised me for doing that and said well done because i was being proactive and responsible for myself.

The CAT team clinician was really nice and he said he will leave my file 'open' for the weekend if in case i need to chat I can call them.

Hubby came home before and I felt like another walk, i know it's cold and windy but no rain so we went for another 30 min walk. Loved it. But now I am tired. Soup is still cooking slowly, it looks so yummy, all theh goodness from the fresh veggies. Can't wait to eat it.

@utopia have you had your bath yet? That would nbe a really nice thing to do too. guess i could do that tonight too.

Re: not feeling good

Not meant to have a new tattoo soaking in water @BlueBay. So no baths for another weekor so.

Re: not feeling good

Distractions distractions distractions @BlueBay. Keep your head full of other things. A complicated knitting or crocheting pattern. Or maybe listen to some soothing music.
You can get through this next moment. ♥♥
