not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

I'm scared of breaking again. I'm nit feeling good. I can't break again. Scared of taken back to public hospital. No. I'm crying I am so exhausted. Might take a pill to sleep. Too early to go to bed.
I think past week with Xmas and new year I'm wrecked mentally and physically. I don't know what else to do. Crying exhaustion snd mentally unstable. Yep that's me. A hopeless mother and wife.

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay You are definitely NOT hopeless my friend you are exhausted and this alone can be overwhelming. The last week has certainly put pressure on you and you are feeling it both mentally and physically. It's definitely not too early to go to bed - your body needs sleep and a break both physically and mentally to gain some strength. Being scared of 'breaking' again is natural - and crying can relieve some of the pressures that build up.

What I do know is that you are a fighter and you are cared about and you are valued. Try to get some sleep - you don't need to wait to a 'reasonable' time - your body is telling you that time needs to be soon. Listen to your body. Are you drinking enough water - it is really important to keep hydrated when you are weak and tired. xxxx

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay Well done you- that's huge! Eaten, cup of tea and pjs ready for sleep. Three things you could not even think about doing a couple of hours ago. You really are a fighter my friend Try not to look too far ahead - be with YOURSELF now. Feel the exhaustion and let sleep take over. Let your body recover a bit - it will help to tackle tomorrow. Then tomorrow see how you are feeling - try to do something for yourself - go for a walk, visit the beach, sit outside and look at the sky - whatever you like to do. You have reached out, you have connected and that shows both courage and strength. xxxx

Not able to sleep. It's overwhelming feeling. Need to sleep. Don't worry I'll sleep. My body is extremely drained. I hate this feeling. I hate my meds. I'm so burnt out.

Re: not feeling good

Hang in there @BlueBay

Sleep will come eventually. Try watching TV or a movie to take your mind away somewhere else for a while. Even get cosy on the couch and sleep there if that's comfortable.

We're here if you need us.

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay stay where you are most comfortable. As @Former-Member said sleep will come, try not to think about it or fight it. If tv or a movie doesn't seem to work some soft music. Even have a shower or bath and then lay down and make sure you are covered with a cosy blanket or doona (something that can keep you warm later on). You will get there. We're here for you

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Zoe7
I'm really tired. Don't understand why. I fell asleep on couch at about 7pm woke up at 10 went to bed and fell asleep straight away. Woke up at 6am but fell back to sleep and then finally got out of bed at about 9am.
I have a feeling this new med is affecting greatly.
Thank you so much for staying with me on here and caring. You are so kind. ❤️❤️
@Former-Member thanks for helping me as well.
Today is my daughters burthday. She is the oldest and turns 25. I can't believe where the time has gone.
I'm trying to stay positive today. It's a bit hard when I'm feeling so exhausted.

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay I'm so please to hear from you and that you did get some sleep. You could be right about the new med - talk to your psych about it if you can

I have been asleep most of the day today - I only had a couple of hours sleep in the previous 2 days so was pretty tired. I know how frustrating it can be when you can't sleep - I have had issues with sleeping for nearly 20 years. The fears associated with sleeping then become fears about not sleeping and it becomes a never-ending cycle. The meds I have now have been helping a bit and I can get an average of 5-6 hours most night. Being up for so long over the previous two days was my choice but has really knocked me around today.

Even though you feel exhausted still today there is a positive in that you did sleep and you are thinking of your daughter's birthday today.

I'm off to the cricket tonight but I will be thinking of you and hope your day today has a little more light in it

Will check back in with you later to see how your day has been - stay strong my friend - you got through yesterday and last night - one day at a time - I'm here with you xxx
