not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Rant away @BlueBay! I couldn't eat and had a massive headache and nausea for days when my meds were changed. My GP adjusted them and I rode it out for a few days - was really tough though. Lucky to have a GP that listened to me. Are you able to tell your psych how you are feeling? Can you eat something small just to keep up a little strength? This one I found really hard too. Are you able to sleep at all?

Are you able to sleep or is there too much in your head for that at the moment? @BlueBay

Re: not feeling good

Hey @BlueBay

Good to hear from you, even when you're low and struggling 😞

I appreciate that you have named fear of failure - it's a big fear for most of us. And I think it can really confront people at the beginning of a new year.

There are many things I could say on this topic but I guess mainly I want to reassure you that we are all in this journey of human life (with it's suffering) together, and we are your friends here that you have not met 🙂 In some ways, your friends here probably know more of your inner life than the people you meet each day.

Take care of yourself, the physical symptoms should ease in a day or so. If not, go back to your Dr. Try to do the distracting, self care things that help you get through. If you do feel you are not coping and at risk in some way, pls call your CAT Team to discuss or Lifeline 13 11 14.

I like your point about whether the psychiatrist /Drs really understand how awful some of the side effects of meds can be? I hope he can listen fully to you.

Best wishes for a better year ahead,

Frog

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay You can do this my friend. What have you done before to get through? Is going back into hospital an option? What other supports do you have? If you don't have any then please call Lifeline.

And I am here for you to reach out to in the meantime - walking with you, holding you up and helping you fight xxxxx
