not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

You do sound tired but much better today

Yes - it was time to change doctors - and it seems to have worked out well.

Changing medication is usually hard - we have to wait for one to wear off while starting another - and also - it is so good that your new psyche is into women's health - an area so often neglected by males - I guess they never really have to think about changes that happen to a woman mid-life

I just deleted a whole lot of what I was posting about how different menopause was for my mother and for med - I just seemed to melt into chairs but my mother would run around opening all the doors and windows letting the cold winter wind blow through the house -

It's different for everyone -

What a good idea it is to take a walk - maybe I should do that myself - I have just got up and it's after lunch - I feel I need to rest up first - teehee - and watch a movie or something

Maybe we would both score well if we took a walk

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. Well done for feeling less anxious. I think the meds are finally starting to work.
Please don't go off a med yet. Try and stay on them for at least 3 weeks. They need that long for their full benefit to show and also for side effects to diminish.
My feeling, & it's my thoughts only, is that you need to stay on a medication for longer. Your old psych swapped and changed meds and doses far too often for any benefit to become apparent. This new psych is on the ball. Give his meds and his treatment long enough to work. So that finally you will have the energy and the patience that you need to heal your past.
I say this in good faith and love. I'd love this to be the hospital stay where things finally turn the corner for you. Where you can finally start healing and find peace and moce on with your life.
Maybe just think about staying on the meds for a while longer. Maybe talk with your psych about it tomorrow.
Sending big hugs.♥♥

Re: not feeling good

Hi everyone
Not stopping my meds myself. My psych stopped my old meds and now on new ones. I think I may be coming down with a cold. Just had a blood nose for about 20 mins. Nurse came in to help.
I'm feeling ok. Sleep has improved but headaches not good. I saw the physician today. I need to have an iron infusion tomorrow in same hospital. Doing lots of knitting beanies and booties. Actually one of the cleaners has asked me to knit s baby blue hat snd she'll pay $10. My daughter said i shld do a few and set up a Facebook page and sell them.
Oh yeah my powder is niw written up so I can have it. But I now feel like I have asthma so I got hubby to bring me ventolin and a spacer.
Hope everyone is well. ❤️❤️❤️

Re: not feeling good

changing meds is not a pleasant experience from what I've experienced. I also had horrible headaches for a while. I hope that these side effects clear up quickly for you and the new meds continue to be more and more effective.

Glad you are in the right place to be looked after through it all,

take care @BlueBay

Re: not feeling good

HI @BlueBay

I am sure I have said it before but it is horrible to change the kind of medication you need to take - and your old psyche kept chopping and changing - it must have been horrible for you

That's a brilliant idea about a Facebook page for your knitting - you do make a lot of stuff when you get going - I used to as well - but the urge has long past

So while you have the need you can get with it - wow - there were no facebook pages about when I did all that knitting - I just knitted and knitted - it was so long ago but I remember sitting on the front porch and watching the sunset and knitting after work -

I am glad they have your powder sorted - and you are getting all your medication now - it will take time to sort it all out but I am sure the worst is over and you can concentrate on recovering - which will be hard work

I keep thinking of you

Re: not feeling good

Thanks everyone for your support. Sorry too hard to tag everyone on my mobile phone.
I saw my psych just now.
I have to have a scan on my brain as routine but also because of my headaches. Everyday last week. Except this morning I woke up ok. Didn't last long. Have a terrible headache now. Psych is going to ring the physician to come and see me reg my blood nose last night and headache. Blood nose didn't stop fir about 1/2 hr.
I'm really scared of brain scan because that was one of my dreams. Lying in bed with my head wrapped up hooked on machines.
Better up now hubby coming now to see me. I'll come back later. Xxxx
