not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

The night nurse refuses to give me my hormone powder to help with my moods and period. Because it's not written in my book. I'm so angry I can't explain how angry I am. Been here 7 days now and all other staff haven't had a problem but this nurse does. She flatly refuses. So nice will wait till Monday snd tell my psych and complain. She is a b**ch. I can't relax now. Why did other nurses give it to me with no problem?

Re: not feeling good

oh dear, how frustrating.. some nurses are willing to 'bend' the rules i guess but if anything happened to you and you'd had different meds than was officially written up they'd be in big trouble too. Getting it all written up officially on Monday is a good way to go,

Hi @BlueBay

It sounds as if you are battling a bit - and one of the nurses is a bit of a toughie - there are a few nurses like that alas - but most of them are okay

You have been given a long time to recover in hospital and so I guess it will take time to get your moods adjusted and for your body to adjust to the new medication and you still have the packing over your head atm - and that is always hard stuff

Just keep puttin' one foot in front of the other and remember to breathe - we are all here for you

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. I hear you. Most nurses in hospital were great to me. But I also had one who was tough and unbending. And I let fly - verbally with her. Was a bad moment for me.
Yes Monday get all the meds written on your chart. If you are going to be there for a few weeks, you need to know you can access your meds.
Other than that, how is your stay there going? Are you finding more support there with meditation classes and other groups? Do you have any art or craft groups?

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Owlunar @utopia @oceangirl @Zoe7 @Faith-and-Hope @Shaz51 @outlander and others I've forgotten

I think I'm withdrawing from one AD as I'm getting headaches every morning. My psych said I could get brain zaps - maybe that's what I'm getting.
I'm awake early this morning. I've been sleeping really well here but I think it's these new meds that are helping st night.
I don't feel so much anxiety atm. today I'm going out fir a few hrs agsin. Then a friend is coming to visit me in afternoon.
I am so glad that I changed doctors and psychs. Two huge changes but I think they had to be done. The difference is amazing. I sent s message to my new gp saying thankyou and that I'm ok in hospital. I wanted him to know how I am. And my new psych well he is fantastic. Very much on the go with meds, my body reactions and women's health as well. Apparently he got into med school at the age of 16!! What the!!! He is very intelligent. He knows his stuff. 😊
Hope everyone is doing ok. I will try to go for a walk today and get some fresh air.
Take care my friends ❤️😊❤️😊❤️😊❤️
