not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Hi @utopia

Totally agree on the old-gossip remarks - you said it so well

About drinking and smoking - and gambling, bad language, rock-and-roll, the football, horse-racing, hotels - whatever - ah woe is me - I had a wonderful Gran who had a large part in bringing me up and her puritan policies gave me a hard time - and yes - I do use bad language at times, and like modern music, take time out in hotels with room service and even bet on the Melbourne Cup - I have had 6 wins in 12 years - but that's small potatoes

Talk about religion and politics - not at all -

But oddly - this font of all don't-do-its was wonderful about some details of sex ed

I am too interested in the good things money can buy for me and pay the bills to want to gamble - but when it comes to drinking and smoking her influence was so heavy I can't shake that one - or two - even though I do have a social drink and used to smoke socially - to this day I can hear my grandmother and it still gives me a pain

So when it comes to other people I can only register - "none-of-the above" because I have so little experience - and wonder how a person being so strict can have such a huge influence and does it always work for the good? - or can it go the opposite way?

Oh gee - people have to do what they do - I don't have the grounds for a good opinion at all

I was going to delete this - but my point - I can't claim a good character on these - no way - I have never been able to get over most of the early teaching of a really good woman who loved me and took good care of me

Re: not feeling good

Do you know what I think @utopia @Owlunar @Zoe7 @Former-Member

I think THAT lady is jealous that I have a close family and a bond with my 3 childrren. Because her two kids are both single and have moved out already. she couldn't wait for her kids to leave home.

You see being from an italian background family is everything to me; that's why I have no intention of throwing out my childrne. They will leave when they do. I know my two boys will leave soon and my daufhter and her partner will stay with us for a little while to save money for a house.

I don't care about this lady anymore, well i do but i don't. She said what she did and I may not forget what she said. My close friend who was with us noticed i was upset and this morning we talked about it and she said she was so wrong in continuing to talk and tell me stuff. She said she shouldn't talk becuse she has a daughter and my D partner is not his mum.

His mum has endured childhood sexual abuse, I know because my D partner told me; so there is trauma and i do feel for her. One day when I do meet her I will be nice to her and not let on anything that i know. Anyway I knew a bit about hs mum because he told us.

It's okay now I was really hurt, upset and damn angry with her last night because she was saying all this stuff loud and in front of other people. That's what got me so mad.

Going to get a flu shot tomorrow, never had one before so hope i don't get sick with it. my dctor has suggested i have it because of my bad asthma the past year.

@Owlunaryou are such a beautiful person, always being kind and supportive to other; like you were to @utopia. I love the way everyone is supportive of each other.

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. I get the flu shot every year. I never get sick having the vaccine. It is quite safe. Even my mum with her chronic conditions gets a flue shot every year.
And you having asthma - a severe flu is the last thing you need.
You've reminded me - I should book in for mine.

Re: not feeling good

I've had my flu jab at t the beginning of the month at work. I've never had any reaction from it at all.
I need to book an appointment for my pnemococal vaccination (pneumonia prevention) this week and then I should be covered for the nasties.
They're saying that the flu this year could mimic the Spanish flu that killed huge numbers towards the end of WW1 uup to 1919 if I'm remembering my history correctly.

The flu jab won't stop you getting a cold but it's certainly worth the protection it gives us.

Here's to a healthy winter for us all.

@BlueBay you need to speak with your GP about a whooping cough vaccination. They now know that the vaccinations we had in childhood do not last our whole lives. This is important for your coming grandchild. All your family should have it as soon as you can.

Have a great day everyone! Hugzzz 💕 🎶

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

Sorry to hear you had to put up with that so called friend, some people just like drama and pushing it onto others. If she ever starts on you in public again ( if you see her again) I would just say "its actually none of your business and I dont care what you have to say"! I have found if people know they are pushing your buttons and you wont do anything they will keep going, but if you say something, they will think next time about being publicly shamed. I know you think you will be acting "mean" but you are just being assertive, your feelings matter just as much as hers - remember that!

Great to see that you got that wonderful house, you must be so excited to move in.

Well done @BlueBay, things are moving forward for you!

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

Oh dear - that flu shot - I think it covers at least 4 strains of flu and has to be into a muscle - not just under the skin -

So you are feeling yuk - it might not be your flu shot though that might help to make you feel yuk

I started feeling crook on Saturday - headachey - and yesterday - flat as a tack and slept a lot - and this morning - as they say all things shall pass - and I felt really bad for a while and think I had a bug in my tummy

So do yourself a favour and go to bed if you feel like it - because I did - forgot to shower - didn't care - ate a little - notalottle

And yes - it will cost you but you need to get the whooping cough vaccination - you can catch it off babies who have not lived long enough to have been vaccinated. I have had it - and I felt "yuk" after that one -

There's a whole bunch of different things I have been vaccinated against - pneumonia, some strains of meningitis - they were suggested by my doctor - an yes - shingles

I am sorry the flu shot has given you the yuk feeling - definitely time to rest in bed - packing is easier done in one big slam anyway

How long before you move?

Dec - sending hugs

Re: not feeling good

Must be the time of year and weather change as I have been feeling this too!

I think I slept for half the day on Friday and then some yesterday.

@BlueBay One thing I know has helped me as I am currently on a 4 day week at work on Fridays I tend to have it as my "recovery" day and do what ever I want. Usually sleep in till after 12 then get up have breakfast, have little naps during the day while I'm doing little things around the home. This has made a huge difference to my mental health, even my partner has noticed it. I start to think how will I cope if and when I go back to 5 days as this has been such a cruicial part of me recovering, just listening to my body and sleep/ rest when I need it. Will deal with that when it happens.
