not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Thankyou @Zoe7 and @Former-Member for last night.
I didn't sleep well. But hopefully I'll be ok today. She just hurt and upset me last night. How would she like it if it was the other way round. I would never say things like she did. If it was me I would have said nothing. Just kept what I knew to myself.
That was so rude of her. I won't be socialising with her anymore. We aren't close friends just known them fir a while. It's just shits me how people can be so rude and cruel to others. I dont get it.
I know my daughters partner is a nice guy he is supporting my daughter and working towards buying a house. What more can I ask for. He is not his mum actually the opposite. He doesn't smoke or drink. Opposite to his mum. Trouble is when u live in a town where everyone knows everyone news travels fast and gossip starts. It's annoying.

Re: not feeling good

Morning @BlueBay

Yes it is annoying

This women certainly has her own 'issues' if she needs to be so rude and cruel to others. Gossip is destructive - and the one doing the 'gossiping' oftenlacks their own 'life' and that is why they need to be so nasty about other people. Don't let it get to you - as you said - you know he is not his mother and he is a good guy - that really is all that matters.

What are your plans for today - other than the dreaded packing!!!!!?

Re: not feeling good

It's raining here but not very cold - which is a good thing. I am going totry and get motivated enough to start sorting out some of my school 'stuff' that I collected from work the other day. I literally unpacked the trailer and care and 'dumped' it all in the spare room. I need to at least make some room to be able to get in there to find other things I need - like my clothes lol

My plans for this afternoon are really simple @BlueBay - lay on the couch and watch the football - I'm pretty sure after sorting stuff in the spare room this morning I will be exhausted by about lunch time!!

Enjoy your breakfast with your friend ... I'll be sitting on your shoulder still so don't forgetto feed me a little also lol

I'll be jumping on and off here today - and probably not staying long when I am logged on - see how I am feeling - but give me a 'shout out' if you need and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Take it easy today my friend and just try to enjoy the little things....

Zoe

Re: not feeling good

Hi @utopia

I know what you mean - I have the same feeling myself at times - and it also seems that there are quite a few new members - so we have a need to reconnect with those we know and those we have just met

And I wonder how many people I have forgotten - it's normal in websites ands groups for members to come and go - some people become committed members, other's do not

So I think we chat a bit when we reconnect and take it easy in finding our feet again - and we only take on what we can and there are times when we feel fragile - so part of self-care is like going back in the pool after winter - stay in our depth until we feel our confidence return

Self-care is vital - it is a joke and meant to be a joke that we have to have our favourite chockie around - and as a joke and currency that is fine - but in reality it is not a serious issue but dark chocolate is a better choice - it does not stick to the teeth and invite more like sweet chocolate - and I find that a square of 4 small squares is fine - and it does take the urge for more - so that's the chockie choice

We all need to eat sensibly - but that is a focus - not a ruled - I am not in favour of the food police at all - but keep our minds on the fruit and vegies and protein - but let's not go overboard

And sleep - that is important but again no hard and fast rules - we sleep when we can - and let's not let the sleep police have to much of a say - and yes - use the night shift thread to chat late at night - a chat and keep off the heavy information could be - what - half and hour - and then try and sleep again

These are just suggestions - I have been thinking about self-care a lot lately with the change of seasons - I want to think about soup - use up some vegies and what I don't eat off the cook-chook I buy on Fridays - that would be easy - soup is always good to have handy

Enough suggestions - I like to re-read my essay questions - and a good idea here too - how do we instigate sliding up?

^>>>>>>>>>>>

^

^

>>>>>>>^

That is not good - graphics is not my strong point - the the up-part is not slide - it's even wobbly - I'll have to work on that

But yes - seeing as we cannot change anything for anyone - we can only let people know they are valuable and welcomed and in a safe place here - and be honest because that is the best we have to offer - if we really struggle if someone else's struggles - uh ha - not good for self - care - just send some little hearts -

We are all vulnerable here - some more than others - I am an up-and-down person and I have long spells of being okay - but I can fall apart in a moment so yes - we can only do what we feel is the truth and if a message is too hard for us - leave that for someone who might be better able

I don't mean to be harsh at all here - just really into self-care - the person we need to care about most is ourselves

Lots of hugs Utopia - you are one of the best

Re: not feeling good

Aw - what crap @BlueBay

Some people cannot wait to spread the evil news - whatever goes on in their tainted little minds is not your problem - nor mine either

How many people already know someone significant person in their lives has some bad habits and keeps that to themselves rather than gossip? Many!! There are women who know their husbands are having affairs and while they don't say anything it's okay for them - maybe not for everyone - but for them - okay -

And you have already mentioned that your dd's future mil is into some bad habits - you don't need to be told - her son is not his mother - you have a perfect example in your own life - you and not your mother -

It's such a pity that some person like that can spoil your evening - you can grow self- confidence - and turn of garbage like that with a polite - "Yes - I know and I prefer not to discuss it"

Great conversation that one - yes - there are so many people with fingers in other people pies I never eat pies - so sorry an interferring gossip had to get into your private stuff - alas

It's easy for me to say don't let it get to you - but I know this is hard - it's harder for you esp right now with so many things happening

Take it easy today - we have had thunder up here - yesterday and this morning - and heavy rain - heyyyyyyyyyyyy - that windstorm yesterday was really something wasn't it

Thinking of you - can I find some of those multi-coloured hearts today?

Re: not feeling good

Thank you @Owlunar. Your wisdom and kindness always shine through in your posts.
I really liked the comment about going back into the pool after winter. Yes the shallow end is the safest place to be, until we build up our strength and confidence again. Then we can start exploring the other areas of the pool.
I'm not very good with self care at the moment. Drinking and smoking. Bad diet. It's almost like purposely punishing myself. But I'm aware of it & so is my psychologist. So hopefully it's up, from here.
So thanks for your supportive words dec.
@BlueBay. That lady on Saturday night was a right old piece of hateful gossip. How lonely and bitter she must be - to get her jollies by spreading hate.
I'm sorry she said that. I'm more sorry she didn't stop when you asked her too. That shows such disrespect.
But remember. It doesn't matter if this gossip is true or not. Most likely only has partial truth in it. Your sil (I know they are not married - but I think he's always going to be around) - his mother deserves the benefit of the doubt. Just as you do - when she meets you for the first time. The reality is - you don't know her story. You haven't experienced what she has. So you may only see her 'symptoms' - her drinking and smoking. But we all have coping techniques to help get us through lifes hurdles. And remember, she has raised a son who sounds like a wonderful young man. Who looks after your daughter well. So his mum has done some good work there.
When you do finally meet her & I hope it's soon - go in with no pre conceived ideas. Give her the benefit of the doubt. As you would like her to give you.
You already have things in common. 2 great kids - your dtr - her son. And you are both going to be grandmas.
