not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

It's really tough @BlueBayand I understand - your mother has been in the wrong about your abuse as a child - to remove this from her she has denied her bad behaviour had driven you away - blaming you

There is no way you were at fault when you were sexually abused - and I understand more knowing that you come from Italian background - but your mother is still wrong saying that you ruined the family - you could not do that - your mother did it - and to deny her guilt she denies her

I like to look at what they write in the Bible - we can believe what we like but some of the stories are so clear the undeniable truth rings true

Adam and Eve were in the garden of Eden and Adam was told not to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil - but they did - and when God asked Adam if he had eaten the fruit - his reply was "The woman YOU gave me gave me the fruit and I did eat" and God then asked Eve and she said "The serpent told me and I did eat"

Yeah - the world's first passing of the buck and blaming others - the woman - and God and the serpent - no one wanted to take responsibility

And your mother has done the same thing - if you had not told her you would still be feeling bad - maybe worse - but nothing can excuse your mother's behaviour - had something similar not happened to me I would not realise the depth of sorrow you are feeling

But I have some scars on my body - and marks - I don't know what some of these are - some I do - and there are times when I feel the injustice as you do - how can a mother treat her daughter the way our mothers can treat us this way - but they do - and where there might be reasons - there are no excuses

Yes - you are a woman in your fifties and you can do what you like - you can see your aunt and uncle whenever you like - as I have contact with my two uncles - and they have fed me in with some of the past which has been very helpful

About your anger - yes - I do get it - and you have come a long way since we starting chatting - and as the story has gone along your depression is turning into anger and this is a good and natural process = just really unpleasant

You have years of psychological pain and loss there that has stopped you from enjoying what you do have - which is very understandable - and the process of healing takes time - takes a long time

It won't be overnight - but it is happening

All the best with that - I care

Re: not feeling good

I want to hurt those creeps that took my innocence away. I want revenge. I'm boiling with anger. And to get my mum back would be pointless. I'm never going back to her. No way. How do I get rid of anger?
@Decadian I'm scared that I'll hurt myself because of my anger. Years of pain about 41 yrs of pain.
Thank you as always for listening to me. It means a lot to me. Xxoo

@Decadian
Do you really think I've come a long way. Why csnt I see it?
It's so humid outside. Not good for my asthma.
Maybe I need to get something sharp and stab something to get rid of my anger. No that's stupid isn't it.

Hi @BlueBay

Yes - I do feel you are improving because I have walked this path before you - but you have had things very hard lately

I think you are in a bad place atm - call it a hunch - but I am concerned

I'm just letting you know that I am concerned -

Re: not feeling good

OMG @Decadian you know me very very well.

Yesterday I had an episode (dissociated) where I was feeling really angry and holding something in my hand.

I called my local CAT team who didn't answer so I called Lifeline. The guy on the phone was amazing. I was in no state to even have a proper conversation with him. I told him i was angry and what i was holding. he reassured that he was here to listen and help me. i kept crying and saying i don't know what i am doing; i am not thinking straight, i am scared, i need help. we talked about my anger and i told him it's my mum and how my parents are not talking to me. he asked me about my children and what they do; he then said are you home with someone and i said no, everyone is at work. no one will be home until tonight.

he said for me to move away from the item and I ended up curled up on the floor still holding the item. I ended up crying, telling him i am wasting his time, why did i ring him. he told me i rang because i needed help and to talk to someone and that he is here for me now and however long it takes he will stay on the phone. @Decadian I was a mess, rolling on the floor, exhausted hardly talking to him and crying.

He then said he was very concerned for me and he wanted me to call an ambulance. i said i can't and he said if i don't he needs to (as part of his duty of care) to call the police. I said no i don't want the police. so we talked about how i would call the ambulance and he told me what to say. he stayed on the phone while i grabbed the landline and called 000. The ambulance put me through to a paramedic and she spoke to me and asked a few questions. i went back to lifeline and told him that the paramedics are on their way and that this lady will stay on the phone with me until they arrive. i thanked him so much for being there for me.

Ambulance turned up and i was on the floor, exhausted and light headed. i know i was breathing fast, i tried to slow it down with the help of the paramedic. They said hospital is the best place to go as it is safe. i didn't want to go but ended up agreeing. They helped me close the doors, i was like a zombie couldn't find the keys to the door, couldn't find my shoes, i was a mess.

Got to the hospital and had to wait at least 40 mins before i was triaged. At this stage i was sitting on a chair and shaking with anxiety. i told the paramedic i need to get out of here, i need fresh air, i need to run. he said no, lets sit here and talk. he sat net to me the whole time and just listened to whatever i was saying and told me not to be scared, that i am in good hands here and i will get the help.

After in emergency for about 3 hours a doctor decides to see me and I told him about my asthma. he chekced me and said i was still wheezy so ordered some medication straight away as well as the puffer. I was then moved to short stay where another 3-4 hours went by. By this stage it was about 7pm and I had again threatened to leave, cryingn telling them i want to go home. They said i couldn't go home as i needed to speak to the CAT team.

Finally at about 8pm I got to speak to a lovely lady who was so nice, compassionate and caring. After i told her what a year i've had, with MIL, finances, work, stress, new therapist, selling our home, hospital discharging me because of xmas closure (which she did not understand at all), my asthma for 5 weeks - she turned around and said no wonder you are depressed, stressed and anxious. And with your BPD you are not able to congtrol your thoughts or emotions. You are right above the scale of how to cope.

She finally said i can go home as i told her i am seeing my new psychologist this Friday. And seeing my psych in two weeks times, but i may ring this morning to see if there is any appts.

I can't believe how right you were @Decadian. You must have picked up on something. I was such a mess. Oh and when we left home i couldn't close the door with the key, the ambo tried but he couldn't either. so we left it and i text my son to come home and close the door. When he did apparently he found the police here waiting. they asked him where i was and he told them i was taken to hospital. they were just checking because they received a call. Bit late, that was at least 40 mins after I left home.

So today - is another day. I am going to go for a walk down the beach. But it looks like another humid day which i really hate. i am getting my hair cut and coloured tonight and I am so looking forward to thta, it has been at least 2 months and I am starting to look like my mum!!! We can't have that!!! LOL

I have just finished emailing Lifeline thanking the guy that I spoke to yesterday. I hope that they can pass on the message to him. I felt if he didn't stay on the phone I don't know what would have happened.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

Yes - I did sense something - I have these feelings from time to time and they are always right

I am so glad you rang Life Line and that they treated you so well - it was a good thing to do and they cared for you so well - and the people you spoke to have the same opinions as I have about your being discharged from hospital because it was Christmas and all the things you have backed up inside you - so much pain and so much trouble

I think others here agree that you are not getting the right treatment from your psyche - I do know by now what BPD is and what sort of things go on when you have that - my son had this - and it is a very unstable situation you are battling in - not knowing from one day to the next what you are going to feel like

We have had storms here today and they are getting worse but I thought I would get on my computer and send you a message in spite of the thunder and I will get back on later - but I am very concerned for you

Getting your hair dyed is a good idea - we can't have you looking like your mother - I don't want to look like mine either

I have to go - the storm is getting worse now and I think the roof is leaking but I will be back later

Dec [hugs]

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Decadian

I just don't know what to do anymore. I saw my GP today first time since before I went into hospital. I told him I am really anxious and my legs are shaking. He told me to cut down my new med that my psych has given me. So now i will take one tablet instead of 2. He can't admit me back into hospital because my psych has to do that. But he wants me to go back to work next week. I told him I am confused, I have been dissociating a lot lately and keep seeing my mums face in front of me. I said to him i will see how i feel by next Tuesday when i have to see him again.

I can't think, can't make decisions right now. I am getting so overwhelmed with selling our home and then having to pack and move. I don't know where to begin. Gosh why is everything gettng on top of me.

Yeah the weather today is horrible, the humidity is shocking. i am struggling with my asthma.

But i can't wait to cut my hair and colour it. yes i DO NOT want to look like my mum.

I am seeing my new psychologist tomorrow so she will have already received a copy of my hospital visit of yesterday. I will tell her all about my symptoms at the moment that i am having. i really hope she speaks to my psych because she told me last week that if something is serious she will talk to him.

My damn cough - my GP said it is now probably stress related. Apparently you can get asthma from stress. Great, just add that to my list of other symptoms I get.

@Decadian I don't know what to do or think. I keep daydreaming off into another world. Into space. And it can happen so quickly.

Better go and get ready to go to hairdressers. Roads here are flooded, we had a huge downpour earlier this afternoon. But it is still humid - yuk!!!

Talk again later on.

Hi @Shaz51 @Former-Member

It has been about 8 weeks since my last hair cut and colour because of my hospital stay. And there are so many greys. But soon it will be red again and cut a bit shorter.

I find that I always feel better once my hair is done.

@Former-Member how are you today? I was thinking about you before and was wondering how your day was.
