not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

@Zoe7

my beautiful butterfly friend - how are you this morning?

I know you are struggling and I hope you had a good night sleep. I am getting ready for work which is pretty stressful at the moment as we are moving shop this weekend. so we have to box everything up in the store and try to operate as well. so stupid. we should have closed for a day and we would have been able to do everything in that one day.

I have been sad and teary this morning; i think its been the pressure and anxiety building up. and of course the exhaustion. i sometimes wonder how i function every day being so tired.

anyway, i really hope youa re okay. sending you positive love your way.

Re: not feeling good

Morning my beautiful friend @BlueBay

I had about 2 hours sleep in the end. I did manage to talk to a few people last night and although I am still struggling with some pretty 'big' stuff I was at least able to start to describe how I am feeling. As it is a very sensitive position I am in we could only talk in a 'round about way' but at least I began to 'talk'.

The mods are aware that I am really struggling with this issue and are providing support to help deal with it. This is crucial for me to be able to continue to be a member on the forum - in what capacity at the moment I am not sure. Whatever the outcome is please know that you will always be in my thoughts and I will continue to sit on your shoulder. Please take care of yourself my beautiful friend - I do truly have a special little place in my heart reserved only for you - you are very special to me!

I love you BB

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay I really hope I can deal with this too my friend - I really need this forum. You and others on here have been my 'life savers' over the past few months and I have come to not only care about but also love so many of you. To not be able to have this still in my life would not only break my heart but also my soul - I can't even imagine that happening at the moment because if I start to think that way all I can see ahead is the darkness again!!

...always sitting on your shoulder

...and I have my little yellow flower with me wherever I go...

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

I am so sorry I didn't reply to your posts - I have been so tired since I got back from Lakes Entrance - I have been sleeping a lot and I think this is normal - seeing as we have had a change in the weather and I walked miles every day when I was away - and sitting bolt upright in the train was not good for my spine either

Whatever - I don't mind sleeping but I don't get anything done

I don't know that much about BPD but what I do know is that it is outside your control - you have an illness - and look at it this way - if you had a condition like fibromyalgia you would have bad days - aches and confusion - and it might not attract a lot of attention from the medical profession - it is an invisible disorder - but you would have bad days and days that are not so bad and things would be outside your control yet you would have a reasonable name for it and you could join a website where the people would sigh and say "We understand" - "You have the fibro fog today" etc - and you would be pretty much where you are now but you would have a name people understand - and ordinary people would say - as I can "My cousin has fibromyalgia and she is so young - it's not fair at all"

And this is where you are now but it's BPD and I do not know much about it - except that it is borderline to something else - and you are on the right side of the border of whatever is on the other side but still - it is very uncomfortable to live your life with your moods jumping around all over the place

I remember I did say I would look up something on what is called Revisioning Psychology - and I have thought of this the last couple of days but I have been sleepy - and not a good excuse

But - butbutbut - I have an idea that having sold the house your mother insisted you buy of her has changed something inside you - you have taken a huge step away from her. I have taken such a step myself in the past - more than once and it does leave you feeling as if you have dislocated yourself in some way. It's scary - selling the house means you have done something else to give your mother more to bitch about - so you are a little shattered in your mind.

And as great as it is - your daughter got pregnant before marriage. Few people care about such details these days but that innermothervoice is getting at you - she has more ammuninition.

Well - in my life - one day my mother would tell me to go to work and help my husband - the next she would tell me to stay at home to care for my family - and I did exactly what I was doing - I went to work and I went to university and in the evenings I went out and taught my private students and visited my son and spent as much time with my dd as possible and ignored my ex-h because in fact we were just sharing the house and life went on and I did not see my family for years on end

So how DID I manage that?

I was often in tears - sometimes I was angry and sometimes I was miserable and sometimes I didn't care and my life was busy and I went on with it - and that part of my life was a nightmare as I imagine yours is - and then I would burn out and be in the Melbourne Clinic for a few days and then back on the treadmill - I guess going to university was my saving as was being so close to my dd and there has always been a bright light within me. That might have flickered at times but it never went out.

But I do have some insight into your hell - and now I know this much about mothers

People are who they are - we can only change ourselves and that is hard enough. We can't change other people - that is too hard - and our mothers do have a right to be who they are - but they do not have the right to treat us badly.

Both of us have stayed away so I get it - I understand - so fight on -

Let your mother be who she is - I have told her she will regret it - don't wish her ill - that will not help you and it will not teach her anything. She is a wounded bird but would not want your help and would kick you to the kerb if your interferred. Also - trying to change yourself to be something she would like would not work for you either.

Be yourself

About those dreams and nightmares - this is the negative side of your experiences coming out in scary imagery - I can read about this on the internet - it is something I studied at university - but how much would help you?

I have had these myself - not lately - but this will pass. Things are more tense right now - selling the house is a big deal and left you without a house right now - but you can buy another one or rent and settle down to thinking of your grandchild - what a wonderful thought

One thing I know - counting blessings doesn't help much - I have found counting afflictions more interesting - and it can get you through - you know the blessings

Growth and change hurt - and your condition causes your moods to fluctuate wildly - this is not your fault - no more that my bouts of back pain which can be just as horrible. We learned to live with those things

We can only accept those things we cannot change and that takes wisdom - one thing you are learning BB is wisdom - and that is very painful in the classroom of life - but worthwhile

Lots of hugs - sorry I was not on line enough to read your messages - hopefully I have slept enough for now

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

I had a look at revisioning psychology on the internet and it is a very complex subject but pretty much putting it into and easy framework it means taking another look at the structure and needs of your soul.

The symptoms you are experiencing - your bad dreams and nightmares - and your sudden mood changes, your headaches and fears are all part of the pain in your soul - and it is important not to push these away but rather take a look at them - with the help of someone who can understand this - and know that you have been very deeply wounded and this is how your soul perceives the damage that has been done to it.

It made so much sense when I read the really raw explanation when I was at university - 4th year - 1992 - all that had happened to me was in the nightmares I had - and this did continue in my life - but it was easier understanding all of that.

So it is an experience - a process that will take time - the content of your dreams and nightmares is not the issue - it's that you are having them because dreams are not what we think - they are upside down and inside out and back to front - but what they have in common is the unhappiness you have experienced for so many years

I am glad I looked this up even though I don't recommend you read any of the books - they would be difficult because they are technical - but if you talk to you psychologist about this I am sure she can help you

All of this is unpleasant - but it is not the end of the world - really - you need peace, you need rest and to be healed from your own memories

You are not lost, you are a valuable person and worthwhile - but so hurt and so alone with all that has happened to you. Peace is within your reach but it is hard atm - but I can see it and I will explain all I can
