not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

@BlueBay

Cut, colour and blow wave sounds good. Dark red ... as in a burgandy type colour? It sounds nice. And Im glad it made you feel good.

Feeling as though you are drifting without purpose, and just putting one foot in front of the other, is emotionally draining. I hope these feelings improve once you are back to work again.

I hope this little lump in my hand disappears like yours did. Because now that I know its there, its really bothering me. And I'm subconsciously rubbing and feeling it all the time.

How did the joint effort chicken and vege soup turn out?

I really hope you can find an opportunity for you and hubby to get away somewhere nice for a few days. You will need to make it happen 😀 Do you have somewhere in mind?

Keep that sling on at least until you have your surgical review on Thursday.

And you're not kidding in saying that so much has happened over the past 6 months. It has indeed.

I hope you're feeling a bit better than you were a few hours ago.

Any chance of a nice restful evening after dinner?

Sherry 😀

Hi @Former-Member

@sorry I didn't reply last night. I'm feeling ok this morning. Yes my hair is more burgundy than red. But after a week or so it goes lighter and you can see more red. I used to have curly hair cut in a bob. But I've lost my curls so now it's cut shorter. Much easier to handle.
lol soup was a joint effort. Daughter chopped all veggies and I did rest. Browned chicken then added veggies and liquid But I suddenly remembered I forgot potatoes. So I grabbed son to chop potatoes. I ended up sneaking to my room to lay down. They had no idea where I went. Didn't last long littke A found me!!!

mini break - I would love to go dknewhere very quiet. Not a busy place. Might look into a nice little cottage or even somewhere on a large property. With a fireplace. Never had a fireplace. Think it would be nice. I'll look into today agsin.
I was thinking during the night (as you do!!!)

that we should seriously consider selling up. Only because we have some spare money that we can use fir our agent fees. But where do we go. I have no idea. I would love to stsy in same area as it's a beautiful place but it's getting so expensive. And the point of seeking is to pay almost all our mortgage if not all. If we move to the country (an hour from home) then we could easily pay off completely and have a near new home. But no beach. I really don't know. I have grown up in our area almost my whole life.
only a thought. Not sure.
and then hubby has snout 4 years left to get to 20 yrs service at wirk. He would then live a chsnge.
I don't know. Everything's up in the air. Too much to think of.
hope you're doing ok Sherry. Xxx

Re: not feeling good

Thats okay @BlueBay , you are never under any obligation to reply. Your reply just now though, was a lovely update. You say you are feeling okay, and you certainly sound much more positive this morning.

Your hair sounds lovely, colour and style, and practical as well. Oh how I wished I had curls as a young girl.

Your soup was definitely a joint effort, and probably all the better for it. Ahh little A worries about her nona, of course she had to go looking for you.

Sounds like you have given serious thought to your mini getaway. Are there any farmstays or rural getaway cottages in an area you like? Oh Bluebay ... big open fireplaces are magic! A lovely roaring log fire has so much charm. You can sit in front and just watch the flames, totally entranced by the wonder of fire. You do have to be careful of course, as nobody wants the house to burn down. I really hope you can find somewhere that matches your wants, at a time that suits you. I'm not sure if people are suddenly wanting to get away now that COVID restrictions are quickly being wound back. I guess there could be a shortage of places at present if everyone is suddenly wanting to get away. Happy hunting for just the right place.

Selling your home and moving is a major decision, with so much at stake and so much to consider. In the current market it could be a good time to buy, but perhaps not such a great time to sell. Although I think, from what you have said, that your current home is in a very sought after area, so it will probably hold its value very well, even if other areas have dropped. Would it be helpful to speak to a real estate consultant/agent? It would be hard to leave an area where you grew up and have spent most of your life in. I've never done that ... my family moved a lot when I was growing up. And as an adult I have moved numerous times too ... 7 times in fact, in the last 20 years. So I guess you could say that I dont really have any strong roots or connection to any one place. For you its different.

Your hubby also has work considerations if you were to move too far out of the city. You have lots of decisions to make Bluebay ... you and your hubby. Perhaps thats one thing you can get to talk about when you're on your getaway?

I hope today continues to be a good one for you Bluebay. I will try to catch up with you again later.

Waves to @Shaz51 @Maggie @Faith-and-Hope @MDT @Owlunar 👋🌸

Re: not feeling good

I agree with @Former-Member ..... your hair sounds lovely @BlueBay .

My hair is something I am really struggling with at the moment. Having to keep D2 in isolation means I can't get to a hairdresser, and haven't been for months now ..... I am enjoying hearing that you have ..... it has given me a lift 💕

Re: not feeling good

I'm glad my post gave you a lift @Faith-and-Hope 😊❤️
You have so much going on I really feel for you. Big hugs 🤗

I'm so tired. Little A woke up and 5.30 and is wide awake reading books on my bed. I tried to sleep but she keeps saying "nonna open your eyes I'm talking to you"

so we're up now. I say to her "to go to mummy" and she says "no can't mummy sleeping" - Whst about me I'm thinking!!!!

nothing on for me today. Can't wait to see surgeon tomorrow.

Been looking for somewhere to go for a weekend but so many are booked.
Thinking of you today @Former-Member ❤️

hope everyone is doing ok @Shaz51 @Maggie @MDT @Owlunar ❤️❤️

Re: not feeling good

Good morning @BlueBay

Dear little A ... she loves her special Nonna so much. 💝👍

Yes it will be good to see your surgeon tomorrow for your review. Hopefully you get the green light to start using your hand again ... for light duties.

Keep looking for a weekend getaway. Looks like everyone has the same idea. Are you restricted to a weekend, or is a midweek option achievable for you and hubby? Being flexible may open up some extra options.

Sherry 😀
