not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Lots of slow deep breaths @BlueBay 😀

Surgeon checkup tomorrow, and hopefully things can start getting back to normal.

I hope you can soon start back with your psychologist, once paperwork is sorted and apts available.

Any luck at all with researching a 3-day getaway?

Sherry 💗

Re: not feeling good

I've looked most of the day @Former-Member but everyone I've looked at they're booked.
a lot of them are booked out until end of July.
so I don't know. I feel like giving up. My hand is sore. I can't open jars. Can't lift things. I feel useless. I think I won't be working fir another week or two.
im stressing big time.

Good evening @BlueBay

It sounds like your persistent attempts to find some professional support have borne no fruit. I am so sorry to hear that. It must be frustrating but please do not give up.

Please try reaching out to the help lines if you need support off the forums Bluebay.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay ...... 💙

Here is a strategy for moments like this that is worth a try:

Ask yourself whether you can do anything about it right here, and right now. The answer to that question is usually no.

Give yourself permission to postpone the worry until you can do something about it ...,, and focus on what it is you can do to look after yourself tonight and in the here and now.

As @Former-Member suggested, breathing slower and deeper for a few minutes helps to shut off that sense of panic ......

Hugs incoming Hon. Hearing you ...... breathe deep and slow .....

hi @MDT @Shaz51 @Owlunar @Maggie

Thanks @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member for last night. I slowed down my breathing. Yes @Faith-and-Hope you're right I need to just think of the present, the now.

trouble is I start to think of every negative thing that's going on.
I'm seeing my surgeon at 9am then group therapy this afternoon.

I had a terrible dream last night. I dreamt of a huge snake curled up inside. I kept telling hubby to get rid of it. But after a while this snake stsrted to slither towards me. I had a hair brush in my hand snd I was trying to hit this snake with my brush (as if that would work!!)

the snake was getting more snd more angry with me and all I could see were the teeth. He was trying very hard to get to me. Horrible big thing. 🐍

hope you all have a nice day in whatever you do. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@Owlunar how's your shoulder?
@Former-Member hope you slept well last night after a very tiring and emotional draining day

@Faith-and-Hope just wanted to say thst you amaze me. With everything you're going through you continue to study and have exams and look after your family. So much on your plate. I don't know how you do it all. you show thst you are a very strong woman. I wish thst one day you have some peace and calm in your life. 🙏❤️

Re: not feeling good

Thank you so much @BlueBay .....💙🐚

I do have a lot of assignments to do this year, but no exams, thankfully .... not sure how I would cope with the pressure of exams on top of everything else ......

The assignments are hard work, but they are also rewarding. I am learning so much, and it gives me something to focus my attention on while there is so much I can't sort out or change about my situation .... at least not in the short term.

What a horrible dream that was for you ...... no doubt your subconscious mind turning your fears into an object (snake) to help you express how you're feeling, and the things you are afraid of, and how helpless that has made you feel ..... try to view it as a coping strategy Hon. It might help. Now, during your awake daytime hours, with your conscious mind ...... work with that dream to change its outcome. Reach for a hose and turn it on full and spray that snake with a hard water spray to make it back down ..... and spray it right out of your house ...... making the house clean in the process ...... imagine the water seeping away leaving the house clean and dry afterwards ..... and pretty little birds paying you a visit inside.

Imagine your lounge room as a beach, with rock pools and a lovely sun umbrella and deck chair. Use the daylight hours for positive imagination exercises like that, and see if that helps to shift the nightmares.

Hugs ❣️

Re: not feeling good

Good morning @BlueBay 😊

Well done on getting your breathing and feelings of panic under control last night. You did real good.

I see that your surgical review appointment is in about 15 mins time. I hope that goes really well for you, and you get the tick to start doing a little more from now on. That will make life a little easier for you in general I expect.

I also hope the group therapy proves beneficial for you. I applaud you for doing that, I think you are very brave.

Sorry to hear about the awful dream last night. Symbolism can be a terrifyingly real thing, and its strange how these things play out in our minds. Its a way that our brain tries to rid itself of bad thoughts and memories I think. I think @Faith-and-Hope suggestion was brilliant. To try to use the same symbolism technique in your waking hours, to turn the bad stuff into good. As odd as it may seem ... these techniques really do work. So I hope you can find some moments throughout your day to try to visualise the type of thing that Faith and Hope suggested. If her particular example does not work for you, then try something else that has more meaning for you personally. I am very interested to hear how this works for you.

Enjoy your day my friend. I will be thinking of you.

@Owlunar ... I havent seen you around in quite a few days. Are you okay? Just a bit concerned about you, and whether you are coping okay. Sending my love and best wishes your way. 🌸

Sherry 🤗💕

Hi @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope @MDT @Shaz51 @Maggie @Owlunar

I saw my surgeon and stitches are out. It's a bit red and I still can't move it around a lot. So he's giving me a certificate for 4 weeks off before work. If I feel better in 3 weeks I can go back to work. But light duties only.
but my stress is the issue of eirk. What the hell do I do? I'm stressing because of finances. I'm stressing because of the job - will they tske me back. So much going on
