not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Hi @pip4 and welcome to the Sane forums. I see that you can relate to members on this thread. And I am very sorry to hear that you are feeling very flat currently. I have been there many times too, where tears just seem to escape, literally at the drop of a hat. I am wondering if you have been diagnosed with Anxiety or Depression and if you are receiving any professional help for how you are feeling?

Most new members introduce themselves to the other forum members via an Introduction Thread. Its just a way to briefly introduce yourself to other members. Click on this link which will take you to the first page of the Intro Thread where it gives you a guide as to what to post there. Then click on the reply button and post your response.

IntroThread

Later if you would like to, its a good idea to create a thread of your own where other members/peers can support you more easily. I note that @Former-Member , our evening moderator today, has also given you some tips. If you have any questions however, please just ask.

You are definitely welcome to continue to post here if you wish to, as well as any other thread on the forums. We have lots of social type threads as well if you're interested in those. Perhaps when you post your intro thread post, we can determine what other threads you may like to take part in.

Lovely to see you here and I hope I will see you around some more. I will keep a look out for your intro post.

@BlueBay

I think you can probably give up on your Mum ever acting like your Mum. A lost cause I think, and one that you may just have to learn to accept. As hard as that would be. Something weird happening, from what you have described. But its clearly upsetting you, and thats not good. Try to leave it be ... breathe and accept.

So much you are having to deal with lately @BlueBay ... loss of a job, daughter suddenly moving in, granddaughter taking over your bedroom, no privacy due to packed to the rafters household, a recent hospital stay, commencing a new job, operation on hand ... gosh it never seems to stop.

Yes I totally agree ... a weekend away with just you and hubby sounds a wonderful idea. Any little break from the everyday turmoil that is unavoidable under your circumstances at home, would have to be of benefit. Not only for you but for hubby too. Now that States have opened up regional travel, and state borders will soon reopen, its probably a good time to try to get away for a few days. I think you have another couple of weeks off work? The timing could be perfect for you.

I have to go now, but will check back later. Got dinner to get ready here.

Re: not feeling good

@pip4 Sometimes ADs become ineffective and need changing, so a review could be worthwhile. I understand your concerns about being reliant on meds simply to exist. But being dependant on medications in order to live life to its fullest, is a small price to pay. Would you feel that way if you had an infection and need to take antibiotics? Its silly really how we treat mental illnesses so different to physical illnesses.

Did you figure out the link to the intro thread?

It's cold and getting dark

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay 😊

I'm glad you attempted to seek help through the LIfeline Chat last night. You say you logged out ... was there a few people waiting? I know I have tried a few times and there is always a line up of people. I sometimes give up on the wait too. If I take the plunge and reach out for support ... I need that support then and there. Maybe next time you try you will have more success in getting through. I hope so.

Sounds like you've had a fairly quiet day today ... which is good. You needed that. I hope the family are looking after you a bit to ensure you're not having to do too much. I hope that sling is on your arm today, as a constant reminder to both yourself and your household members, that you should not be using your hand. Who is cooking dinner for you tonight?

It started out here very wet and dark this morning. Lots of quite heavy rain. But its been fine since a little before lunch, when the sun finally shone through. And its not been too bad for this afternoon ... mild and with intermittent sunshine.

I notice you posted at about 4pm, and said it was getting dark then. Is there rain coming? It does get dark very early now. In fact we have our shortest day of the year coming up in a weeks time. Our days are very short right now, with not a lot of daylight hours in them. So then nights are therefore long.

What plans do you have for tomorrow? Have you given any more thought about a weekend away soon?

Sherry 🌸

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Former-Member

my wrist or actually my palm is sore. Very itchy also that goes up my arm. I might call my doctor or the surgeon rooms.
I think my family forget about my wrist. They are hopeless.
no with reg to lifeline I stsrted chstting online but felt I was getting no support so I decided to leave.
yesh we got a bit of rain. Shortest day 21 June. I remember that day as it was father in law passing. I was 9 months pregnant at the time. Terribly emotional time.
I have a hairdressers appointment tomorrow morning then nothing until Thursday when I see the surgeon.
any plans for you?

hi 👋 @MDT @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Owlunar @Faith-and-Hope @Maggie snd others
