not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

@BlueBay .What does’ close my books’ mean? I agree, very hard to take. I’m really sorry, it didn’t sound very helpful.

Its a good idea to wear your sling again, and not use your wrist. You could do damage while it’s trying to heal. The mess will wait @BlueBay , your health is more important.

I hope you can rest tonight. 💙💙💙

Re: not feeling good

None of us are "normal" @BlueBay

And we all need love and support to different degrees and for different things -

But right now you are angry with Huffnpuff and you have used your wrist - and it hurts

My suggestion is to take yourself off into a room alone and breathe - and think - life is giving you the hard time and you are not giving yourself time to recover from the operation you had this week and this is a time to be taking it easy so please do that - take it easy

I want you to think about something - do you want to continue the way you are or are you ready to do something about it? It's up to you

There is no way you can control Huffnpuffs OCD - he is probably suffering as much as you are in his different way because everyone is different

So - you need to accept the way things are and make what changes you can - I understand - this is a bad day but you are not a bad person and you are very strong - you would not have lasted this long if you were as weak as you think you are

And I care about you a lot - remember that

Re: not feeling good

@Maggie thanks for your support.
What she means is that after a certain amount of time eg year, the funding ends. So she closes my case and it can be reopened as soon as I make my self referral. Don't know why they do it like this. Must be a funding thing. don't know how to explain it. It happened last year and I had to wait 2 months before I could see her.

@Owlunar I know hubby has ocd issues. I need to accept the situation as it is.
I an not using my wrist tomorrow or until I see the surgeon. Which is Thursday.
Hubby is back at work on Monday which will be goid I know he was great help this week. But the huffing n puffing was terrible.
I need to calm myself

I'm playing with A.
I really need to rest more
I want my hand to heal

i can't afford to have too much time off work

Thankyou for your support.
I need to stop my negative self talk

its very bad and destructive

Re: not feeling good

Yes @BlueBay

You do need to control your negative thinking - it has become a bad habit over time and the only way to deal with it is to develop new habits - eg - countering negative thoughts with positive ones

You are are strong person - just remember that one -

And you do need to rest that wrist - you know that and it's a good start - tell yourself you will

And Huffnpuff needs support with his OCD - it's not up to you - he needs to see a professional - maybe when you can calm down and see yourself as the capable person you really are you can tell him that it is hard to live with someone so annoyed with what other people do normally that he needs to see someone about it and in the meantime - just walk away from him when he starts

I know you can do these things - and you will quickly find you can feel better and your strength will be apparent to you

But it's not easy - this I really do know

Re: not feeling good

Thanks for your support and honesty @Owlunar

I appreciate it.
things are so tough.
do you know my mum hasn't rung me all week. No call to see how I am.
I can't work her out and probably never will.
she gets me so angry I need to let her go too

but it's hard

Re: not feeling good

I know and I understand @BlueBay

My mother was similar - and I still don't understand it

I wasn't the model child - but I was studious, honest and fairly obedient and a challenge for her - I like myself better for standing up to her once I became an adult and had to leave the family for years at a time and didn't see her for years until just before she died and I have no regrets

So I do hear you and yes - you have to let her go - it's better for your health and seeing as she maintains her behaviour you will struggle but there is no need to feel guilty about it

And I wish you the best with it - knowing only too well

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay That makes sense. Thankyou for exploding it. Yes, it does sounds like a funding thing. Hopefully it doesn’t take that long this year.

I hope today is a rest day. Something nice for you. Sending 💙💙💙💙

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay ... Yes, you really need to give that hand of yours every opportunity to heal well. If its getting sore .. you are doing too much. Use the sling, and make sure everyone there knows that you should not be using your hand at all right now. Remind them when they forget ... because they will. And remind yourself too ... I know its much easier and less frustrating to just get in and do things yourself. But for now, please dont. When do you have your surgical checkup?

@Maggie I liked the exploding bit. 😂 And well done on becoming a fully fledged Guide yesterday.

Hi @Owlunar really hope that shoulder of yours starts to respond to the injection soon. Ive missed our chats lately, but will respond to your post on my thread later.
