not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Hi @Shaz51 @Maggie @Molliex @Angels333 @Former-Member @Zoe7 @Faith-and-Hope @Owlunar @MDT and ithers

I had to see a physio today for my hip. She gave me some certain exercises. She then told me I was chubby in my stomach and big busted they wouldn't help my back and hip.
she decided to video me doing the exercises while she talked.
I then saw my exercise physiologist and broke down. He knew I wasn't right. I told him I'm angry at myself for my weight gain and then excessive eating. I told him about the physio taking the video and when I looked at them I was disgusted at myself. Haven't seen myself in a video thst close for a very long time.
I was totally ashamed and angry at myself. I wanted to delete the videos because I don't want to look at myself.
he knows I'm not seeing my psychologist for another 6 weeks. And he feels I need more support.
I just couldn't stop crying.
he wants me to see my doctor ASAP and tell him how I'm feeling.

I just don't know anymore 😢

Hi @BlueBay 😀

That sounds a little weird for your physio to video you doing the exercises. Did she explain why? I have never seen myself in a video, ever. But I hate my photos, so maybe thats similar. We can be so critical of ourselves, cant we? We always see what we consider to be our faults. Where as, others seeing that video would likely see the whole thing, and not be blind to the good parts.

I am so pleased that your exercise physiologist is so perceptive and caring. He is probably right that its a good idea to get in to see your GP sooner rather than later. You clearly need more support than what you are currently getting. So much has changed in your household since you last saw your psych.

Thinking of you.

Sherry 😀💕

Re: not feeling good

The Physio videoing you sounds unnecessarily harsh to me @BlueBay. I wouldn't like that done to me ..... you are going there for support, not to have your self-esteem put under that sort of pressure ..... gee whiz !!

Can you ask her not to do that again, because you struggle with depression and it was too confronting for you to cope with ? If she can't respect that, I would be looking for someone else .....

Thsnks @Faith-and-Hope @Shaz51 @Former-Member @Maggie

my exercise physiologist is calling me today to check on me.
I'm going to see if he can explain to the physio my depression and body image issues.
I was ok when she did it. It wasn't until I replayed it alone thst I broke down.
I just feel very flat and have a huge hate of my body.
