not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Good morning @BlueBay

Sounds like you had a pleasant day yesterday, seeing your Dad and your sister, and having a nice lunch. Also good to hear you will be catching up with your older son today for a cuppa. Looking likely that a nice relaxing day is there to be had. I can just picture little A excitedly giving her dad his fathers day present. Its a pretty big deal for a little girl, and very cute.

Enjoy your morning walk, and the rest of your day. You are sounding much more settled and content today ... fantastic.

We have visitors for the weekend, my husbands family from Perth and some friends of theirs who are caravaning with them. We hope to go out to a local pub for lunch today. Its a nice spot that we have booked a table at, its on the water. About a half hour drive for us, but worth it. My Dad is staying with my brother on his farm this weekend, so I am happy that he has company rather than being on his own today. I will give him a call soon to wish him a happy Fathers Day. I left him a present when I was down there a couple of weeks ago.

Sherry 💕😊

Re: not feeling good

Six weeks to our holiday to the Sunshine Coast.

But the other day our youngest son told me his graduation day is the day after we’re away!!! Damn. I tried to change the flights but with Jetstar you are charged an arm and a leg!! Too expensive. My son said don’t change the flights. He said it’s ok to miss out. But I feel bad but it’s just the way it is.

I really wanted to be there.

So my other son will go and maybe my daughter.

And what we’ll do is when we come back from holidays we’ll go out for dinner. And I’ll buy him a small gift. Msybe a nice pen.

He applied for a graduate accounting job last week. Two days later they called for him to do an aptitude test. Then Friday the called for an interview which is tomorrow.

I hope he gets this job.

Hi @Owlunar @MDT @Shaz51 @Zoe7 @Gazza75 @Faith-and-Hope

and others following

this morning I went fir a long walk. It was a nice day.

This afternoon I had an appointment with an exercise physiologist at the same place as my dietitian and psychologist. He is a lovely guy. We spoke about my walking and my eating disorder issues. All of a sudden I broke down. I apologised for breaking down and he was very caring and supportive. He listened. He asked if I love myself snd I told him no. I explained a bit about my mentsl health issues snd childhood and also my mums negative comments towards me.

He has offered me a group exercise class which will start end of October. It’s a small group of only 6 people. I said I’ll give it a go.

He will discuss today’s appointment with both my psychologist and dietitian.

Im feeling very lucky to have a fantastic support team.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

It sounds as if you have made a huge step forward - changing your priorities to something you can change - that is - your walking and working on your diet and self-esteem - this is huge

I really understand about your mother - sometimes mothers can really put us down and her voice is the hardest to overcome - I have been there - I really only got past it when I saw my mother's huge regrets just before she died - and I do not want to be thinking about regrets when I am just about to leave - I want to think about my graduation and my trips - my daughter and what a miracle she is - my grand-daughter and how wonderful she is - I could go on and on - what a pity to spend a life like our mothers have - just putting us down so consistently it changes our perception of ourselves

I am sure there are other people here know this - it's so hard to get past

And you have been a great Mum - and I think I have too - my daughter is highly qualified in her field and your son is graduating from university and another is a policeman and your D has lttle A who is a joy to everyone - you have done well

And 6 weeks until you go to the Sunshine Coast - it's a pity you will miss your son's graduation but on the other hand you have supported him through his studies and been there for him - and things like this happpen - he understands though.

It seems you have turned a corner - I am so glad you have - it takes a lot of courage to do what you have done about that - I am proud of you
