Something’s not right

This is unbearable.

This is unbearable.

Guys, I'm in so much emotional pain at the moment that the thought of keeping going for more of the same just seems pointless. I don't have a life worth living and won't ever have. I've tried everything and no-one in the real world can do anything to help me fix my life. It's just too big a mess. I don't know what to do. I'm so tired of hurting. Existence isn't life.

No private e-mails please. Still safe.

Re: This is unbearable.

There's nothing else for me now, @creative_writer. I can wrestle with this or with everything else. There's no reprieve anywhere for me.

I watched a few videos and one was a debate between a Christian and a Muslim. Very interesting. It seems that these arguments will go on for ever.

Thank you for your input but it seems that I'm always rowing against the tide. I might have an early night. Tomorrow is another day. Good (early) night here, I think.

So very tired of all these battles, @Appleblossom. Three years of trying to understand my ex-psy and the deep trauma and absolute confusion he inflicted on me, which continues; now I'm embroiled in trying to understand religion, and that debate has been going on for millennia. I thought it would be a slam dunk. My kingdom for some peace!!

Feeling miserable at the moment. 8.01pm and I'm thinking of turning in.

Re: This is unbearable.

@Historylover ... not many slam dunks here ... weary sigh. I have just settled on it being unlikely I will pin it down. Friend with Phd ... learned Greek and became a scholar .. he'd had a big conversion away from alcohol and became a Mormon. NOw he is distancing himself from that particular style. It is complicated. I knew another with theology degree who became atheist. Go in as deep as you feel is a genuine effort for you, but it should not be torturous and get in way of living a good life.

Dropped offline and was happy playing bass recorder ...

Yes to good art and music ... bringing out the best for the highest good ...cant complain about that.

@Appleblossom, @creative_writer, hey there you guys, just a quick note to say I feel that I have turned a corner today. A sleepless night trying to turn off my mind, but this morning is all good. I can see the road ahead, and I will have to take it slowly. I think I took the U-turn too sharply!! Thanks to you both for your input and help with my over-steering.

I feel like a grub today without running water. Looks lovely outside. Have a good one!!

Re: This is unbearable.

Just had a thought about the grub thing and cultural differences. @Historylover

Sharing it with the hope it gives you a smile ... the Buddhists tend to be stronger about grubs rights than the Christians ... tho it is not absolute and may be sentimental as I know there is a lot of variation in both spiritual traditions. The Buddhists do not preach Faith or Belief as such but I have found some of their practices helpful as meditation.

Hope you are still feeling clearer and can enjoy the week ahead. I am feeling better. I had a few curly weeks myself in and out of trauma mode.
