I'm back

I'm back

Hi @NikNik @pip @Decadian@utopia@Faith-and-Hope@Former-Member@Shaz51@Former-Member @CherryBomb @Silenus moderators and friends

I knew i wouldn't last!! I need you all. who was i kidding. Hubby and I went camping for 4 days and we argued so much about how to put the tent up, which post to use, wrong post, right post, etc etc etc

I couldn't read my book that i bought because he kept talking to me. At the end i gave up. We did walk around the perimeter of the caravan park which took 1/2 hour (huge park). I managed to swim which that gave me some peace and quiet for a little while.

We just snapped at each other most of the time. And when we didn't snap we sat and hardly spoke. he is the type of guy that doesn't say much but i noticed even in the car driving up (3.5 hours) he wouldn't start a conversation. So i just looked up facebook and read the paper, or fell asleep.

The weather was beautiful (25-30 every day). But i realised that i need space to myself. We are home now and he is washing the car, I have just put a load of washing on. the kids survived without us and actually not even keen to see us 😞

My mental state is not that great. The CAT team rang me on saturday to make sure i was okay and asked about my sleeping. The psych i saw gave me some sleeping tablet but i am still adjusting and don't like the drowsiness it causes the next day. I did call them again on sunday afternoon but they had to transfer me to the place that i went to and i sadi no don't worry as hubby was coming back to me anytime and i couldn't speak while he was there.

I have an appt tomorrow to see the CAT team psych again, i also have an appt to see my own psych in the afternoon. it will be interesting to see what he has to say abut me seeing the CAT tem psych.

I knew i wouldn't last being off here, i just needed to tell someone about my weekend. And as for intimacy and sex - well there is none. And it's prob my fault because i told him last time in hospital back in July that i wasn't interested. which is still true but i am sure he would like to.

I feel like a failure for not being able to stay away from this forum, i always have good intentions, set myself a goal but never go through with it. that's where i see myself as a huge failure.

anyway, just thought i would say hi to everyone and that i have missed you all even though it's not even a week. how patethic is that.

Re: I'm back

❤️ So well done @BlueBay .....

You persevered despite the way you were feeling and kept yourself safe. You have secured a second opinion in regard to your meds, and have also secured the support you need for the weeks ahead to your new psych appointment ....

That took courage and strength.

No need to apologise at all. You have brought us joy, hearing how you have worked through this tough situation and do the things you needed to do to care for yourself, no matter how lousy you are feeling, you are succeeding in overcoming the effects of your past, and that is your achievement. It's a success.

Baby steps. You won't always feel so bad. You are moving through change and it will get better and better progressively.

Breathe. Trust. Believe.

Re: I'm back

@BlueBay. Good on you for making the call. You have been able to go from massive crises to a calmer place where you are able to sit quietly and knit. Well done. Not so easy to do.
I sometimes find being around people to be helpful and if it doesn't work - then hubby takes you home.
Sending you hugs ♥♥

Hi @BlueBay

It's good to get up in the morning and find that you have made it across the really bad place that was yesterday

It was fantastic to read how everyone cared so much and put up such great pics - this was fantastic to read and to see

I am really glad I joined this website and really so glad you did too

Good work @BlueBay and good work Forum Family too

Re: I'm back

Hi @Decadian@utopia@pip @Change123@Former-Member

Any mods around?? Need to chat to a moderator (unless i am a problem person on here then i will not come back on)

I just never ever learn

When will I bl....dy learn and not do the same things over and over again .....

Today I called the CAT team and spoke to one of the clinicians. He went right off - telling me to not call all the time about my meds, to ring my own psych and GP and that they are not able to help me. he was talking for a while that i completely shut off what he was saying - because i startted to think that's it i am stupid, i will never ever ring them again and i don't care if i do .... to myself;

i asked him - so can i ring if i need support or am i not allowed to ring anymore. he said they are happy to chat with me when in crisis and need of support. well that's not what the really nice guy said to me on thursday night. so i take up this guys advice from the other night and i get an angry guy on the phone.

And it's all my fault.

when the hell will i learn.

i ended up falling to sleep because that's all i have been doing this weekend. up now and may go for a quick walk with hubby and a coffee down the street.

so - i am too scared to ring my own psych becasue he told me i ring 'too often' and now the CAT team.

i am trying so damn hard to get through this hump of emotional crap, feeling like no one cares, i am on my own and feeling like life is over.

is all my fault isn't it??

Hi @BlueBay

I am so sorry to hear that you had a terrible experience with that clinican, it sounds awful and confusing (but remember they are not all the same)

you have been very strong in asking for help and trying to promote your own wellness, i hope that you did go for a walk to get coffee with your husband

did you call lifeline also?

I am here for the next little bit, how can I help?

Re: I'm back

Why don't I learn. I'm so self hate atm. I'm worried that I'm not able to cope for next 3 weeks with no support. That guy was so straight down the line with me. Actually harsh. Didn't need that right now. My BPD behaviour is this exactly.

Re: I'm back

try not to think to far ahead @BlueBay, because of what has happened you have been overwhelmed with emotions and that is no time to plan, theorise on "why's or if's" of anything or consider the future, just try to focus on the moment and get through today

what strategies do you have for dealing with the moment?

when is your next appt with your psych?

Re: I'm back

@fancy-pants
Next appt with my psych is in 3 weeks time. I feel like knitting. Maybe that's what I'll do.
