That's okay. Your boys will be old enough soon to go get pizza for you @ArraDreaming . Seriously, they grow up so quickly. Hence, I always say to parents to treasure the time they have with them.

How is your partner feeling (only if you want to answer)?

@tyme Yep I agree way too fast, can’t believe the youngest will be 2 early next year and we’ll have one at school also, time just flys.
She’s really good, really really happy, had the best day, most of her family is a couple hours away so we had breakfast with them before they all went home.

I don’t know if I told you this, maybe not but when I was a kid, like mid teens, I had this couple look after me for a few months, and this was peak bike riding in the school kind of time period, so I was a handful on a good day. about 6 years ago or so I caught up with them and we’ve been in contact even just sparingly ever since. they were here yesterday which was really special, I did invite them and we were was expecting them so it wasn’t a surprise but it was still very special for me to have them

That's remarkable @ArraDreaming - and to see you all grown up, swapping bike zoomies to chase after two lively children. It must have meant so much to them.

This is what I'm also thinking for your little siblings. They are bringing joy to the family looking after them. One day, they will look back and know that you did your best to care for them, but there are things out of your hands.

You are a real example and role model for them. You are like the 'golden boy' out of generations destined for the not-so-good life.

Look at how far you have come. Look at your achievements over the years. Count your blessings, not your failings. If someone has never made a mistake, then they've never made anything.

Remember that.

ahh stop it, why did you have to get me in the feels like that. Nah but really thank you that means a lot.
I wasn’t with them for long for a long time I didn’t realise how much they did for me and how much they cared for me like I was one of their own at the time I couldn’t see how much they cared about me. I lived in like, I don’t know something ridiculous like over 20 houses and these are the only people I feel that I still want to have in my life.

I wonder what those people who doubted me would say if they saw me today, they probably wouldn’t even remember me but I do I remember everything.

How are things @ArraDreaming ?

I'm thinking of you? Any chance to get the boys babysat so you can go on your 'honeymoon'?

We got them looked after all day on Monday for the day while we spent the day together but that’s it with Christmas its really hard, were hoping to go away in March, or if i can get time off and we can get a babysitter sometime in January while my partner has time off, it’s hard don’t want to go away for too many nights while the youngest is this little @tyme but would be really nice to go away just the two of us! we went to the snow without them earlier this year for a couple nights which was ok he ended up being fine

we’ll see just trying to work something out around Christmas, work, money, children, it’s hectic as

this is the second night or maybe even third that i’ve crashed on the bed at 6pm after the kids have gone to sleep I’m so unbelievably exhausted I have not an ounce of energy in me I hope Im not getting sick this happened last night and I got a second wind of energy was up until midnight

I think so too, the hard part is we don’t have a lot of help, we have one family member who lives around here and the rest are a couple hours away, it’s something I really envy when I see other people getting to go out and they get their kids watched and it’s like even just for us we have to plan that weeks even months ahead and then that person usually has to stay here, we have a really good family day care but I wouldn’t really consider that help that’s during the week so we can work.

just venting a little bit @tyme I’m tired today I’m really really tired it doesn’t even feel like normal just go to bed tired either
