Not Coping

Not Coping

Hey everyone how are you all?

@RiverSeal @Shaz51 @NatureLover @tyme @Former-Member @Eve7 @Former-Member @amber22 @Jynx @FloatingFeather

I'm not doing great at all today. I'm feeling down. I also keep beating myself up for everything and feel like I'm just failing. I need a break from everything. It's getting so hard that I don't know how to keep going anymore especially since I can't talk to anyone around me as they are leaving me or don't understand.

Hope you don’t mind me reaching out I just really need a chat and though I could come on here and vent and talk for a bit.

Thank you

Re: Tw Not Coping

I get that my mum always asked about what I talked about it my sessions with my psych which was annoying.

Isn’t a well fare check when police come to your home that would be scary @creative_writer. You have just got to do what best for yourself and get the support you need and deserve.

Once you come to Melb @Birdofparadise8 , you'll be able to access PARCs too!

Isn’t that where you stay in an inpatient setting that isn’t like hospital @tyme?

I don’t know what I can get everyone keeps telling me I have to wait till I get to Melbourne but like what am I supposed to do between now and then. I’m just getting worse and all these different service just keep suggesting each other which isn’t very helpful.

Re: Tw Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8, yes. That almost happened to me. I stupidly left my phone upstairs while I was eating dinner so the CAT team told my psych to arrange a welfare check. Once I spoke to the CAT team they asked my psych to cancel the welfare check, so it didn’t happen. But my mum is still bitter about it and thinks my psych only did it to save herself. My parents ask me about my appointments too, it’s annoying.

I think I’ve heard of that wise mind accepts or something @tyme.

Sounds like a lot of effort to try and retrain my brain when I feel exhausted from just living if you get what I mean.

Re: Tw Not Coping

Oh did you miss a call from the CAT or psych @creative_writer?

Well at least they didn’t need to get anyone to come to you.

May I ask but you don’t need to answer have you had police come to you previously or not I’ve seen videos about it and it’s seems really scary. Please don’t say anything if it’s to confronting just ignore me if you want I don’t want to offend you or trigger you.

Re: Tw Not Coping

Yes @Birdofparadise8 ! Correct! Now the scientific term wouldn't be to 'change your brain', but that's my lay-person's terminology...

I really really feel I have a different brain since going through talk therapy so intensively.

I believe I never really knew how to think in a healthy way because of things that happened to me.. therefore, I had to practice and practice and practice. It took over 2 years! That's over 300 hours of 'training'...

@creative_writer - definitely hard but manageable.
