Not Coping

Hey everyone how are you all?

@RiverSeal @Shaz51 @NatureLover @tyme @Former-Member @Eve7 @Former-Member @amber22 @Jynx @FloatingFeather

I'm not doing great at all today. I'm feeling down. I also keep beating myself up for everything and feel like I'm just failing. I need a break from everything. It's getting so hard that I don't know how to keep going anymore especially since I can't talk to anyone around me as they are leaving me or don't understand.

Hope you don’t mind me reaching out I just really need a chat and though I could come on here and vent and talk for a bit.

@Birdofparadise8, I missed the call from my psych. I did once when I was suicidal, parents weren’t very happy. My mum sort of blamed me that time. My culture is obsessed with reputation. So I just sort of reacted by SH to her comments and she caught me and wasn’t happy. I am scared of my mum’s emotions in a way, she can be loving, say the wrong thing and her angry switch is turned on and she may say really intense things but probably doesn’t mean it. I mean, you can’t love a person and then turn against them completely.

She thinks people overreact here in Australia overreact over suicide. And she wants me to be careful so I don’t get into a treatment order, which I have never ever needed, even after talking to mental health professionals about SI. I think she Catastrophises things. Treatment order is unlikely to happen, I’ve never really qualified, even at my worst.

Oh that wouldn’t be good if she found you SH my mum gets upset just talking about it.

When you say overreact do you mean when people actually commit or just thought?

My mum is the same she catastrophises things too @creative_writer she makes it about herself.

@Birdofparadise8. She thinks the system overreacts when someone has suicidal ideations and welfare checks are too stressful (which they are).

Twice weekly sessions which I squished into one day because I had to take a whole day off work for treatment! @Birdofparadise8 ! So it was over three hours each session!!!

But it was absolutely worth it!

I have had police at my door many times. I lived alone, so they were so worried about my welfare. Once they came at 3am, took me to hospital against my will because the paperwork should have expired. Then when I got to hospital, after all the ED drama, they said the involuntary admission paperwork had expired so the police took me home... that was traumatic in itself!

Then another time was the divi-van. I'm like... 'no way! I'm not going into there where people vomit and pee'. The police said, 'you're lucky, it's just been cleaned'.... but i refused. So they called an ambulance.. unfortunately, will waiting for the ambos, it started raining... so in the end, I had to wait in the the divi van for the ambos....

Yes, i was very unwell at that time. As much as these experiences were not pleasant, I sort of don't hate the people either because they were doing their job. I was NOT in a good way.
