Of course I set boundaries @Captain24 - I go so far but no more.
For example, eating their food! If it's not going to harm me, I'll do it for them. However, if I know I'm going to get sick from their food (like certain food simply do not agree with me), then I'll respectfully decline their offer.
So, it's not always that I do things just to please people - quite rare actually. Like in the past, I put up with certain work colleagues because I feel sorry for them. You, that colleague no one really gets along with? Yeah.... I try.
As for spinach... yes! Even a few leaves = some form of iron.
I didn't end up getting a Happy Meal tonight for my nephew. He went to bed early. I'll have to give him an IOU coupon lol. But I'm sure he'll remember!
Someone has just given me three meals:
1) lamb with roast veges
2) mexican veg and rice
3) dahl and vege rice
So at least that's my main meal sorted for three days. And I add spinach to each of these meals (this is the hard part of living alone. I buy one packet of spinach and I have to eat it EVERYDAY, EVERY MEAL till it's finished.... do you find that?)
I bought some fruit today, so i've got bananas, pears and watermelon for the week.
At least people give me food...
