Hello @EternalFlower @TAB @Appleblossom @Former-Member @Shaz51
You guys really are the BEST. Thankyou so much for all your support & kind words❤️
My mind has been a little spaced out over the last few days & I haven't been on the forums.
Checking in now, & catching up reading all the comments just makes me feel so accepted.
@Former-Member welcome to the forums!! Thankyou for your supportive & warm first post to me💜 I loved how you explained your opinions of SANE & how it can be used, & then you supported the way I reached out. It made me feel confident & safe. Im looking forward to interacting with you. I love all animals. Currently 'my family' is feline 😄🐈 Do you have any pets, or fun interests? I really like your name! Mainly because I have been practising my art skills & I find sunset/sea the most fun & easy, given that I cannot draw!
@EternalFlower I loved your comment "It it is ok and acceptable and loved to feel not ok here, we can help each other"
It's when I read these types of reinforcing comments, that I feel so much safer, & secure within my self. Thankyou for sharing your strength with me, now & in the past. You are fabulous🌸
I have watched all the AHS! Did you watch the recent one with McAuley Culkin? Wow, he was so different from Home Alone days.....thank goodness! Haha!
Hope you are ok💗
@TAB@Appleblossom thankyou again. It really means heaps to me to have genuine support👍 Interesting re: middling to fair. It makes lots more sense. I feel slightly smarter🤔
Yes, I don't live in a nice neighbourhood. I would not dare walk around here after dark. At times, I have forgotten to bring the bins in. I feel like my senses are on high alert, simply going to the nature strip at night!
It's also perhaps part of the reason, I prefer living with my friend. Even though, sometimes things can get so bad & I know that it's damaging for my mental health.
It is not his fault.
His mind can play tricks & his delusions will tell him that I'm the enemy. It can be frightening. This is fairly rare occurrence, & I can almost always find a way to connect with the 'real him .' It can feel overwhelming at times. Mostly, when too many bad things happen at one time (like covid!!)
I have seriously questioned living on my own & whether or not that is best thing for my own mental health.
I believe there are benefits & negatives to both.
I know, for me, I feel more safe living with someone. Even if at times, I feel worried here too.
'the least worst option' - I wonder if that has a phrase? @TAB
(PS- I love my friend lots)
