Welcome and getting started

Trying makes it worse

Trying makes it worse

Hi,

I'm EternalFlower and I've been feeling completely overwhelmed, sad, and pessimistic.

I've tried and been a responsible patient and person, reaching out to various services when I started feeling scarily anxious and suicidal, 2 years back..

My Dr is new, a young guy who regularly admits he's inexperienced, and aside from some good jokes, he actually does very little

I notice how easy it is to blame myself that I don't feel better, a total shame spiral, but I wander if my treatments just are bad....

I wanted to chat and hear anyone and hope I can use this space to help not feel so alone.

Thanks xxx EternalFlower

Re: Trying makes it worse

Fair to Middling initially referred to classifications of quality in farm goods. The quality of farm produce can be categorized as fine, good, fair, middling, and poor. Poor was the term for the lowest quality produce, while fair and middle may indicate ordinary quality.

.. I used to have a set of these books as a kid. Mum used to call me it sometimes as was pretty good at losing stuff I had only just had in my hands @Appleblossom .. so add the two together I guess lol

My internet playing up...

@TAB @Appleblossom @Former-Member @Shaz51 @maddison @tyme

Cute book tab ! So nice to have an original like that from youth.

feeling OK today but a bit scared as I don't think I will continue with therapist...he messed me over last week so...hm.

I've got some books to read and shows to watch over next week for distractions.

One show I just watched was "The Watcher" on Netflix. It was entertaining and scary, but a bit lacking in depth.

It is by Ryan Murphy who made Glee, American Horror Story, and other things.

How are Ur knees @TAB

Interesting re the NDIS @Appleblossom I am glad u got it and can see how after having hard time accessing services for Ur son it can just take the headache out of seeking treatments

I was approved for the DSP an am hoping to apply for NDIS next.

Re: Trying makes it worse

Hi @EternalFlower no I don't have the book, just googled it.

maybe be careful if you want a helper dunno. I got into argument w idiot fm job network place once. They reported me and they were never suggested to me again. They were also beyond rude, useless and just Wrong lol .
oh. Watcher is true storey . Read about it the other day.

Re: Trying makes it worse

That's right @TAB based on true story, really creepy.

Naomi Watts was good actually!

Job networks and providers can just have no empathy, sorry u had such an ignorant one.

Not sure what will watch next, considering American Crime Story by....LOL Ryan Murphy again.

Re: Trying makes it worse

think the easiest generalisation for Job Network is that they are Evil @EternalFlower this is either indirectly through ignorance and self interest, or actively in trying to destroy clients' livliehoods

I dont have pay tv so I cant see the Watcher etc.

I am pretty happy being in city with like 5 more free to air channels than country lol.

Was thinking of where I was inearly 1990s this morning .. were 2 tv channels and 2 radio stations lolo .. and people would drive 160k's to go to macdonalds after a few too many drinks lol ..

Hi @TAB

I would agreement job networks.

There is great stuff on abc comedy and sbs world 🎥

I got netflix during the pandemic and then got all the other stations, except for Apple,

LOL re McDonald's, I remember a lot of nights ending up at McDonald's in the 2000s.

Now I go to chemist warehouse or kmwart for a night out lol
