Re: Relief from suffering

Are they trying to get us to black out
Or is it just my social anxiety and phobias
I'm staying away from television and radio at the moment because I don't feel safe
I hope I haven't caused anyone undue stress
My anxiety and phobias are so taxing mentally, emotionally and physically

Does anyone else have insight

Re: Relief from suffering

i stay away from tv too .. maybe a couple hours per month .. many people

i know cant be bothered with it cos its too negative or there is a lot of rubbish on it.

Saw your post about vegetables .. keeping close to good things has helped me endure

Glad you have some hope

Re: Relief from suffering

Thanks for the reply Appleblossom

If your having a hard time I can understand

My second day without calling helplines

How hard it is trying to be independent and don't feel safe calling helplines

I suppose trying to be independent is something in itself

Not neccessarily doom and gloom

I'm glad saneforums is here for the support

I was wondering how Thor33 is at the moment

Re: Relief from suffering

I apologise for this mornings post if it was inappropriate
I'm under so much pressure
And I'm so isolated
And so alone

I only have my mum and she is unwell and I'm trying to be a good son and she is unwell

I hope some peace of mind can come my way
A sense of comfort and peace would be so beautiful
And a sense of relief

Peace

Re: Relief from suffering

Hi @Happyness

I hope you feel a little less alone by visiting the forums.

Being a carer can be really tough, as we tend to put our own wellbeing on the backburner.

Are you getting treatment at all? Sorry - I'm not familiar with your story, though I do recall 'seeing' you around here a bit 🙂

The Number of The Beast

Evil in the world is alive and real

I'm dedicated to Jesus
Whatever the cost

I'd rather die a horrible death
And still choose Jesus
And still have my Soul

You could call me a fanatic

All I know is evil in the world is alive and real

Please pray for my mum Julie
Please pray for my mums Soul

And say a prayer for the Earth

I've still got my Soul

That's all I need to know for the moment

Re: Relief from suffering

Hello Leesu and Appleblossom

Yes

Obsessive thought patterns

How important is insight

I hope today is a saner day than yesterday

Re: Relief from suffering

There is more than one problem of evil. Yes it does exist. It is not a hip or cool concept, but they say it happens when good men do nothing. Positive activity has usually been my way of working against evil, whether it is doing some practical or writing and thinking.

Yes I hope today is saner than yesterday .. then we might be truly evolving as a species ...

Re: Relief from suffering

I'm trying to reform myself
I'm trying to intigrate into society
And I'm doing behavioural management on myself
And I don't use swear words
And I try to be polite
And I try not to react to peoples anger

I so regret growing up surrounded by bad characters

I so regret growing up in a broken family

All those horror movies my friend showed me
How I regret it

Can you help

Happyness

Re: Relief from suffering

There are also horror movies in intact families and real horror stories in the most expensive houses.

On this forum all we can do is talk.

It is odd you mention swearing ...when I was at the fundraiser for Indian girls' education on the weekend .. a "lady" told me of a lady who said her only wish was that she had said the F word more often ... I never believe in prohibition but I dont want my headspace filled with expletives ... its not creative ....

You were wise enough to mention other peoples' anger ... it is out there and not everybody cares about how they use it. Good on you for being non-reactive when it counts.
