Welcome to the forusm @BipolarRich ,

Thank you for sharing a little about yourself.

What are things that keep you going?

Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here 🙂

@tyme I think the thing that keeps me going is my amazing wife and two fantastic adult kids.

I live in the hope of being defiantly against my abusive parents, and hoping not to repeat history

Re: Welcome! Introduce yourself here 🙂

I have had a fantastic day. Thank you for asking me about it. I am so glad and grateful my mood is improved over the last 2 days. I really appreciate the days and weeks when I’m not feeling flat or low. I had a lovely visit with my mum today and I’m grateful for this. It is 2 years this month since she had surgery for oesophageal cancer and she has survived and is well again now and enjoying life with no sign of cancer recurring or spreading. It was my birthday today as well so it was also nice to feel good today.

How was your day?

Yes I am grateful to have both my parents alive and well. My mum has had breast cancer and now the oesophageal cancer and my dad bladder cancer. They are in their mid seventies and both independent and enjoying life.

Hi there @simple-petal @BipolarRich

@simple-petal , thanks for sharing about your family. I'm glad to hear they are alive and well. Sounds like there's been a bit of a battle over the years.

What keeps you going?

@BipolarRich ,

That's amazing to hear about your children. They are what they are because of you.
