Lockdown 4 - let’s get around each other

Hey everyone, we are in LOCKDOWN again! And I hate it. I'm really over it like everyone else.
But, we can't control it, we can't tell the government that we don't like it and they'll stop the lockdown so let's do the best we can.
Why don't we use this thread to support each other.

So I'll start us off with three things I could do before the end of the day to fill in time. They can big or small. You can also do absolutely nothing which is fine too.

- Take our kids for 1 hour of exercise as a family

- Go for a run to fill up the rest of the allocated exercise time (and get my personal time in)

- Build Fort with biggest small human child (already done haha)

Oh iv just surrendered to the reality that this is probably going to be how it is from now on. @Snowie

The way people have helped me in the past has actually caused more harm than good.

now I have found this sight I hope things get better.

I'm not sure how long I'll stay here for, it doesn't feel comfortable for me.

I'm sure I'm not the only person that feels violated by past events, unfortunately it just continues from day to day now.

the smells and sounds are not helpful 🤦🏼‍♀️ I wish I never went on that stupid trip

I'm not sure if we've met before, but I'm TideisTurning, one of the Peer Support Workers here. It sounds like you might have been triggered by a recent experience and going through a tough time right now. That struggle makes complete sense given everything, though I'm sorry it's something you've had to experience.

Also holding that hope for you as well that things will improve. I hope you'll find the connection and support among the members here that you're looking for. Please keep reaching out- I'm sure there are a few members who can relate, and I hope you'll find each other soon. In the mean time, please know that you're not alone.

Thank you @TideisTurning. Yes unfortunately everything is a trigger at the moment, and yes it's helpful just to have a rant.

I would love to share good things 😔 hopefully that happens soon.

just checking in to see how everyone is travelling. It's so cold and windy outside, and im

carrying a carry a cold, so no outside time to me today.

anxiously waiting to hear if the lockdown will be extended. I don't have a good feeling, but trying to be positive.

After being raped and then told it wass as a fantasy just to have everyone tell me it never happened. My father constantly bringing up the name of the officer who told me my rape was a fantasy while trying to play fottsies with me I’m over it every one from my past can go to hell
