Daily Achievements!

Daily Achievements!

Hi forum friends! I've decided to start a new thread on Daily Achievements because I suffer from depression as one of my mental illness and that means it's often hard for me to remind myself that I do actually things in my day, no matter how small they may be. I thought forumites could post here a daily achievement or 2 so we can remind ourselves that we have done something good each day. It can be as big or as small as you like. Just as long as what you did makes you proud and happy.

I'm tagging @roses @Bow @Shaz51 @BPDSurvivor @saltandpepper @Daisydreamer @Former-Member @Former-Member @Former-Member @TideisTurning @Former-Member @frog @Sans911 @outlander

in case you might be interested as well as anyone else who wants to join in!

So, to get this discussion started, I'll post my achievements today which are:

- I had a gorgeous cup of tea which helped me deal with some anxiety I was experiencing;

- I paid my car registration which was due today.

See what I mean about achievements? Mine may seem small or irrelevant to some people but to me, because I have depression, these are actually major in the scheme of my life. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

Re: Daily Achievements!

@Wintersweet thank you for your post. I often feel like this somedays when tasks I normally wouldn't even think about (basic everyday tasks) consumes my entire mind and I can't seem to move forward. I might go search for the podcast you mentioned.

@oceangirl @Former-Member @Meowmy @Judi9877 - what achievements you have done, well done. 🙂

Today has been much better

- Got up earlier and dropped my partner off at work

- I went to the recycling centre

- I returned a library book, and borrowed another couple, and had a lovely brief conversation with the librarian (it was a nice change to just the simple hello and good-bye)

- Did some grocery shopping and checked my lotto ticket that has been sitting in my wallet (no luck haha)

- Listened to an Oprah podcast

Hoping you all have a lovely day
