Daily Achievements!

Daily Achievements!

Hi forum friends! I've decided to start a new thread on Daily Achievements because I suffer from depression as one of my mental illness and that means it's often hard for me to remind myself that I do actually things in my day, no matter how small they may be. I thought forumites could post here a daily achievement or 2 so we can remind ourselves that we have done something good each day. It can be as big or as small as you like. Just as long as what you did makes you proud and happy.

I'm tagging @roses @Bow @Shaz51 @BPDSurvivor @saltandpepper @Daisydreamer @Former-Member @Former-Member @Former-Member @TideisTurning @Former-Member @frog @Sans911 @outlander

in case you might be interested as well as anyone else who wants to join in!

So, to get this discussion started, I'll post my achievements today which are:

- I had a gorgeous cup of tea which helped me deal with some anxiety I was experiencing;

- I paid my car registration which was due today.

See what I mean about achievements? Mine may seem small or irrelevant to some people but to me, because I have depression, these are actually major in the scheme of my life. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

Re: Daily Achievements!

You've accomplished a lot @LostAngel @TAB @Former-Member . I wasnt able to repeat my big Monday yesterday or today. Today I gardened, cooked and washed up and exceeded my Facebook quota very early. Oh well. Sunday night I'd done a deep Yoga Nidra relaxation before bed. - maybe I should try it again and see if makes a difference.

Greetings @Judi9877 I hope you're well.

Cheers

Dimity

Re: Daily Achievements!

I agree @TAB . Breathing is an important part of any meditation mindfulness or Yoga Nidra I do. And if I'm out and super anxious breathing exercises help.

Re: Daily Achievements!

Good evening @Dimity @TAB @LostAngel @Former-Member @Appleblossom @Shaz51 @Daisydreamer @Former-Member @frog @MDT and all forumites here. Well done on all of your achievements forumites! I'm so proud of each of you! You make me feel guilty for not posting any of mine lately so I'll try to be better at listing mine in future! Thanks @Dimity for the tag and giving me a reminder to check in here and post some achievements!

Over the past few days, I've achieved the following things:

- Started back at uni for the year so I've been getting back into the fun of studying academic texts again and stressing over assessment dates!

- Used my new diary to write in uni assessment dates

- Posted on Facebook and Sane forums

- Had a shower or 2 on a daily basis

- Took my night meds

- Worked on my Crazy Blanket and have decided that I'm keeping it for me!

- Dealt successfully with a Covid-19 scare (I thought I could've had it but it turns out it was bad sinusitis luckily!)

- Learnt the value of anti anxiety medications and have accepted there is a time and place in my life for them

- Took my housemate to her medical appointment and used the time to wait in the car and doze as I was tired

- Had my uni phone call about my academic probation issue and now have to let my psychologist know about it since I've implicated him into it by accident but the phone call went relatively okay all things considered

- Spoke to my sister about lots of different things

- Successfully sought out RAT tests and purchased them as they seem to be the new toilet paper in this pandemic

- Helped my housemate make zucchini and bacon muffins for dinner on Monday night

- Used some of my time to rest when I needed time out on my bed

I'll try to keep my list shorter next time around!

Take care!

Judi9877☺️💐
