Something’s not right

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow I hear you. Same thing happened to me on Monday and also 2 Friday nights ago in the ER of all places. It causes a lot of damage, when we are struggling so much already.

In my experience over the past 2nyeats or so, its so challenging to find helpful professionals in the mental health sector.

We are in this together, we'll help each other through.

You're definately not a waste of space and so worthy of help. Keep searching, just as I will too.

Re: My Mosaic

Thanks for understanding @WIP @outlander and thanks @Former-Member

This woman knows nothing about me and for her to come in and tell me that I don't have the thing that my gp, psychologist and the hospital have all said that I have, the thing that my gp and psych are quiet concerned about and .,, Nevermind. Already really not well and feel I now need to go prove this woman wrong.

Re: My Mosaic

That's really hard @Bow its hard when that happens. Can you change to a new pdoc? You could do your own research to see who might be best suited to you and your diagnoses?

Re: My Mosaic

This wasn't even a pdoc @outlander.

I was referred to the community mh crisis team after my appointment with my pdoc on Thursday cause I wasn't safe. They met up with me today to see how I was going.

Im trying to find a new pdoc, I'm not going back to the other one, but it's a 3+mth wait.

Re: My Mosaic

Oh gosh @Bow thats awful coming from a mh team
3 months is a long wait to see someone hey
What about finding a private pdoc? Theres quite a few where i am that are classed as private but are also accept medicare. Most are around a $50 gap fee though but could be worth it for a good one

Re: My Mosaic

It was horrible @outlander

they obviously know nothing about me so I slowly start to explain some of what has been happening over the last couple of months. They ask what supports I have, again start to explain that my gp is trying to get an Ed confirmed so I can get more support. The lady shut me down, told me I don't even have one and then spent the rest of the time belittling me, invalidating everything I had just said and that I need to have a serious think about things and get out more. Already feeling extremely fragile today with horrible flashbacks. I'm at the bottom.

Re: My Mosaic

Thats horrible @Bow
Do you think you could tell your gp how you were treated?
Do you think there might be another service your gp could refer you too?

Re: My Mosaic

i wont bother my gp with it @outlander she does enough extra stuff for me already. she didnt refer me to them, it was the police, it was either them or going to hospital. i just wont engage with them anymore, tell them what they want to hear to make them go away.
