My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

That’s a really early start to the day @Bow. It sounds like a very productive morning. I hope your headache eases this afternoon for you.

Re: My Mosaic

I put some muscle rub on and it’s helped a little bit.

@Captain24 @Snowie

this afternoon I plan to have a nap. We are on a mini break at the moment and Group finishes in 1/2hr, then I’ll have some lunch and then go to bed.

need to speak with the nurse about my leave tomorrow. I was given leave over the weekend but not sure if I have to be cleared by the dr for every new leave.

Glad to hear the muscle rub has helped too.

Hopefully you can have leave tomorrow afternoon hon and go see your daughter. I'm sure she will love seeing you.

Short amounts of leave you don’t need pre approval for, but as I wanted 12:30-5, I had to get it approved by my pdoc, which he approved 12-6 for me. I’m going to go and have a massage, see if that helps me neck and then I’ll go home, hopefully in time to pick my D up from school.

had an annoying phone call from centrelink earlier too. They had left me alone for ages, but he wanted to make an appointment at a job agency for tomorrow! His put me down as having an immediate family crisis for this week while I organise a medical certificate. I applied for DSP weeks ago, but it says I won’t have an outcome for that until July. 😩

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow I'm glad you got the leave approved for tomorrow. Your D will love seeing you. I hope you have a good time away from the hospital. A massage sounds like a good idea.

I hope you are able to get the centrelink sorted out soon. It certainly is hard to deal with them.

Re: My Mosaic

I hope the massage eases your pain @Bow. It would be a big surprise for D if you make it to pick her up.

Did you get leave for mother’s day or do you have to wait to find out?

Re: My Mosaic

Oh my I have woken up and I’m not in as much pain! I thought it would have been worse given it’s the day after ECT, but it’s not. Think I could still do with a massage though!
