Something’s not right

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Thanks @Snowie i got to groups this morning. And I really wanted to start going to the gym in the afternoon that I don’t have ECT, but I’m not sure now. I’m still so sore and tired!

Re: My Mosaic

Well done on getting to groups this morning @Bow That is quite an accomplishment.

Even if you don't get to the gym you have made a good start to the day.

Re: My Mosaic

Bed is appealing @Bow!!

Saw my psych this morning. Appt. wasn't long enough. Stirred up lots of mixed emotions. Still very raw.

Re: My Mosaic

Oh that sucks @Snowie

I haven’t had such a good day today. Just in so much pain, neck, shoulders and chest. Painkillers don’t really help either.
I went to groups this morning… only just managed to stay, it was hard.
I had a nap this arvo after I had some prn. A lot of trauma responses today. Then the sensory group lady pulled me into the room and I spent 1/2hr with her. I was the only one there.
I had a chat with the nice psychologist from last week. The one that I knew from community mh. She checked in with me. Said that she told my psychologist that she had seen me here- I gave her permission to and that she would keep an eye out for me.

I seen my pdoc this afternoon too. All of a couple of minutes. I asked to increase one of my night meds…. He said he would, but doubted it would do much cause I was already on a high dose and that should knock me out. Sigh. It’s frustrating. So very frustrating.

ECT number 3 tomorrow.

Re: My Mosaic

I'm sorry the painkillers are not working hon @Bow

It sounds like the psychologist is nice and hopefully you can continue seeing her whilst you are in there.

Hopefully the increase in night meds help, I guess you can only try and see what happens.

I hope ECT tomorrow is a little easier on your body.

Re: My Mosaic

It was an early start today… 4:30am!! And then was called for ECT at 6. I woke up ok today and was back in my room in time to go for breakfast. I’ve also managed to come to groups this morning, wanted to attend this one in particular on guilt and shame.

but by gosh….. I am in pain. I’ve had both types of painkillers, which don’t really do anything. I think I’m going to go for a massage tomorrow on my way home. I bought a heat pack in from home when I was there on Sunday cause I found a microwave…. But did hear someone say it was a fire hazard 😩

Re: My Mosaic

Wow @Bow that is an early start to the day. At least you got ECT done early enough to have breakie afterwards and attend groups. You have fit so much into the day already.

I hope the pain subsides a bit during the day. A massage might be the way to go. I went and had one a couple of weeks ago. It hurt a lot but did wonders for my back.

Hopefully you can use the heat pack in the hospital. It might just help.
