My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Thanks @Snowie im super tired today I’m really not sleeping well and it’s frustrating me cause I know my pdoc has tried so many things.! I have an appointment on the 4th, and that’s if she is back by then, no one knows when she will be back. My CM called today. I will go see her tomorrow, maybe she will have some news about a psychologist? Can only hope.

Hard to understand why I have such lovely and generous friends. Not worthy of any of them

Re: My Mosaic

I’m glad you went to dinner @Bow. It’s great that you have wonderful friends and you are worthy of them. They wouldn’t have organised it if you weren’t.

How are to today? I find after a social event I feel drained the next day.

Hi @Bow , popping in with good wishes for you... 💜

Sounds like your dinner with your friends went well last night? I hope the food wasn't too triggering... And you are worthy of nice friends, I know you and you definitely are.

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow I agree with the others, your friends must be really nice and supportive. I find it hard too when I interact with others and then have to deal with things afterwards. Your feelings and thoughts are completely valid.

I hope today goes well for you and that you can do something nice for yourself.

Re: My Mosaic

Not doing ok today. Lotsa bad dark and scary things inside

seen my CM this morning. She’s made an appointment with another pdoc for me for next week to review my meds/ sleep. Another really bad night last night. I’m just so exhausted. We also talked about my hospital admission a couple of weeks ago, today was the first time I’d seen her since coming home. She’s encouraged me to speak with the patient liaison officer regarding everything that happened.
I also asked her if there was any update on when/ if I’d get a new psychologist. She said no. No news. But she did say that my old psych was on 4 weeks leave and then would be returning as an eating disorder specialist and that I would probably see her from time to time. I got the impression that she wasn’t leaving the service just changing positions, but no one had said anything to me. I knew that she had an interest in EDs and that she use to work within the ED clinic that use to be here. But I am desperate to know about a new psychologist. I hate sitting in this unknown space, hate having to keep all this stuff inside my head with nowhere for it to go.

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow it is hard not knowing the answers hon, especially when we really need them.

I hope they are able to find a psych for you soon. It does make it easier when we have consistency with our supports.

I'm glad you have the CM at least, even though it is not the same thing.

Sitting with you hon 💗💗
