Thank you both @Captain24 @NatureLover for the kind birthday wishes. My day has been ok. My daughter woke me early this morning and told me I was allowed to get up now and had made a happy birthday sign with some balloons.

I opened some lovely gifts, one of my favourites being a ‘name sake’ cuckoo clock, can’t say what type as it would give away my name, but it is so stunning.

My daughter and I went out for lunch and had a wander around the shops. She is a bit painful to wander with now days, so it was a short trip. I will go back later next week. I’ve had a couple of friends pop by this afternoon, which has been lovely. And we are waiting for my brother, my SIL and niece to arrive for dinner.

My friend has also arranged a gathering for Tuesday night. We will all go out for dinner. I was very hesitant in agreeing, but I said yes. I hope I can cope ok.

I’m really struggling this afternoon. I’ve been expecting it. This time last year I made a very serious attempt on my life. My I’ve tried to keep myself busy. I uploaded all my supporting documents and submitted my DSP claim. Didn’t help reading through everything and being reminded of how terrible my mental health has been the last 2 years. I’ve spent the last little while painting, but I sat there thinking the whole time of how much I don’t want to keep existing anymore. And contemplating putting plans into action. I feel so terrible depressed.

I hear it’s hard @Bow. I’m sitting here with you. We can get through this together.
