Something’s not right

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Would you like to talk about the appointment? @Bow - no pressure though of course.

Re: My Mosaic

@tyme I had every intention of asking if we could go for a walk instead of sitting back in one of those rooms… I had already spent nearly 4hrs there this week with exposure therapy. But there was a lot going on in reception area that I didn’t get the chance and then we were in the room.

She asked all the usual questions

- sleep? Despite the med increase I am still not sleeping. Still awake at midnight last night. She was gonna speak with pdoc.
- food intake? Still only doing one meal a day. Trying to at least stay hydrated.
- SH? Still doing it almost daily. Sometimes I do it while dissociating. Wounds are ok at least.
- SI? Yep, still having a lot of them. She asked if it was any different to before, the intensity? nope, it’s not. It’s the same.

She asked about my daughter- she’s fine. Settled back into school.
She asked about the social outings group I’m connected to, I told her I just can’t manage that at the moment. My anxiety is terrible. Suppose to do bowling tomorrow. I can’t.
And then I talked a bit about what’s going on with my step dad. She listened.

what else can she do???

Re: My Mosaic

How can anyone really help though? I don’t feel like there is anything anyone can do anymore

Re: My Mosaic

Possibly not @Bow - maybe it is up to you now? You are strong enough to take the reins. It's scary at first, but it will be worth it.

Re: My Mosaic

It will come @Bow . I've seen it. I'm no one special. I also once thought there was no hope, yet I'm here to tell the story that I was wrong.
