My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

Yes, I plan to chat with my dietitian tomorrow @Former-Member about the meals and snacks. Whether I can possibly cut the afternoon snack out so that dinner isn’t so difficult.

Yeah, mum is down at the hospital still. She’s only been there about an hour, so no update yet.

i found a few things for my daughter and then ordered her main present online this afternoon.

Yeah I feel a little more positive today I think @Captain24 i didn’t mope around this morning after dropping daughter off at school and then went out for a while.

That's good!! I always had such fond memories of primary school. I grew up in the bush and we had the BEST rugged playground. We used build forts and unfortunately occasionally lost them to wildlife (mainly snakes 🐍).

What are you and your daughter going to do tonight @Bow ?

Always nice to have such fond memories of your childhood @Former-Member I have some…. But not many unfortunately.

I’ve just given my daughter ‘tacos’ for dinner…. A tortilla wrap with Tom sauce and cheese! That’s our lazy dinner for her and for me I’m having a quesadilla from aldi.

Ha ha, I am Mum and we love baked bean night 😂. Whatever makes the day run more easily. I have never had the quesadillas from Aldi. Are they nice @Bow ?

Oh they are so good @Former-Member i really like the chipotle chicken. It’s a tiny bit spicy, but I love them. Always have some in the freezer for nights like tonight.
