My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

So sorry to hear, dear @Bow 😞

I'm wondering, did you ever hear the result of the meeting last time you were in, with the ED clinic in Sydney consulting?

I really hope 🤞that the psych ward this time will be a helpful experience...

Sending wishes you can get into the ED Sydney clinic soon.

Sending hugs and 💜

Thanks @Snowie @NatureLover @Shaz51 @creative_writer @Captain24

I’m tired today and just wanna go home.

my bloods weren’t too bad and was admitted to the mental health short stay unit late last night.

i had issues with my meds last night. I take a dose at 6pm to help calm me down and then another dose at 8pm to help me sleep. I had the 6pm dose in the ED and the nurse for whatever reason documented that I had taken both doses, even though it was taken straight from my own Webster pack. It took a lot to convince the nurses that I had only had one doses and they made me wait until after 10pm. I was not impressed. Eventually got my second dose after they spoke with a doctor.

i didn’t sleep well after all that anyways.

still haven’t eaten. Drinking not much either.

seen a pdoc today. He isn’t sure what to do with me. Think it’s the whole ED diagnosis. He has no clue. He was going to go speak with the team. But he said he could help sort out my sleep. That was early this morning, I guess I will be left hanging all weekend now. Urgh.

health called my daughters school too. Not impressed.

Hi @Bow

Thank you for letting the Forums know how you are going today!

The hospital can be a challenging place to be and feeling understood doesn't always happen when we feel we need it. You are in a safe space for now and sometimes we just need that.

I hope you get some rest while you are in the mental health short-stay unit and we look forward to hearing about your recovery!

Take care 😊

Regards,

RiverSeal

Hi @Bow

I'm sorry you don't seem to be getting any answers. It is so hard when we are dealing with multiple things all at once.

Thanks @Snowie @RiverSeal

thankfully I seen the psychiatrist late this arvo. He asked a heap more questions. He is going to put one of my meds back up to see if it helps with my sleep. And then will discuss with me other medication options on Monday.

he did bring up ECT. I said no. I’m really not keen to go down that path again.

Re: My Mosaic

Hi @Bow

Glad you saw the psychiatrist this afternoon. Hopefully the increase in meds will help with your sleep. Hopefully it happens quickly for you.

I can understand not wanting to have ECT. I have told my pdoc the same thing.
