My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

I sure hope so @Snowie @Captain24

@Snowie I know that you have had ECT in recent years. It’s been 15+yrs for me and I don’t want it. It’s messed with my memory too much and my cognitive function too I believe.

hopefully they will be willing to work with me…. And not keep me in here while they do a med change, I know from previous experiences that can be a lengthy stay and I don’t have that time. I want to be home.

Re: My Mosaic

I can understand wanting to be home @Bow

It is hard to be away from family, especially when we have kids. That is why I don't want to go back in. I want to try and stay out for my kids. But I don't think I will have a choice soon if I keep going the way I am.

I hope you are able to get out of hospital soon hon.

Re: My Mosaic

What a beautiful picture and analogy @Bow. I like the idea of all the pieces of someone's life, the colourful and the dark making something grand.

Hugs to you xx

Thanks @NatureLover @Former-Member @creative_writer @Snowie @Captain24

I slept a tiny tiny bit better last night…. At least until about 3am. Still woke before that a number of times but not as much. From 3am I didn’t get much sleep at all.

mum and daughter are coming in today. Should be here soonish. I just wanna hold my daughter. I only found out the other day that when I was in hospital the last time, she was crying herself to sleep of a night missing me. 😢😢 I need to keep myself out of hospital.

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow I hope you are able to spend some quality time with your mum and daughter ❤️ Disrupted sleep is never good, mine was disrupted today as well. Maybe try to nap later today.

Re: My Mosaic

I’ve had a really hard shitty day. Still not eating, so my blood sugars are low and ketones are high. Which apparently is really not good. So, I had some IV glucose and they are waiting for a bed on a medical ward for me, with the plan I think to NG again and more fluids. They want the bed asap cause my sugar levels are dropping really quick after the IV glucose. They went up really high, I think that’s what made me sick, my body in shock from the high levels. Really don’t feel good at all.

had a nice visit from my mum and daughter earlier before all this happened. Friend was going to come in this arvo but she called and I said I’m really not in a good way, so she will come tomorrow after church. I’m tired and wanna lay down and sleep.

Re: My Mosaic

I’m sorry it’s so hard for you @Bow. I am glad that you had a good visit from your mum and daughter though. At least it is one positive in your day.
