My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Oh yeah @Bow . So true! I remember that feeling good and proper. I really had no answers and the more they asked me questions, the more confused I got. And yes, a good way of describing it is 'noise'. Just plain noise. Wanting things to shift, wanting things to change for the better, yet not knowing what to do or how to answer these people who were supposed to have the answers...

I remember.

Re: My Mosaic

Yes I walked away on Monday feeling more confused than what I did when I walked in @tyme

i ended up emailing my psychologist…. She said it was ok if I didn’t know and didn’t have the answers and didn’t have the words. We are going to explore that a bit more next time.

just gotta get myself to next Monday

Re: My Mosaic

That's a very understanding response from your psychologist @Bow .

One thing I've learnt with my MH is that sometimes my therapists have been cruel to be kind. At first I'm angry about their decisions, but I later thank them, because I've been better because of those decisions made (that's my experience of course - not so for many others). e.g. once I asked for support from CATT and my CM refused. I was so upset at first. But later, I realised she knew I was ready to swim on my own (even if I didn't feel like I could).

Re: My Mosaic

Shitty horrible day today @tyme

dropped meds off for them to be webster packed. Not what I want, but case manager is insisting it be done. Annoyed.

seen dietitian, first in over a month…. Since my trip and since hospital. Thinks I need a higher level of care at the moment. And just a difficult appointment in general. Talked hard stuff.

then appointment with case manager. She asked some pretty straight, blunt questions. If I had access to such and such would I take such and such… yes I would. Again talked about admission. Think she wants one for me.

sigh. Don’t wanna be here no more @tyme
