My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

@Jynx Yea exhausted. Wish there was another word for beyond exhausted. I did close to 5hrs on the bike today. That along with what I took last night has left me feeling pretty depleted today. Miserable. Curled up in bed but too scared to close my eyes.

@Bow A big, hard day indeed. Could you read or something, until it feels like sleep will come more swiftly?

Hey @Bow ,

All I can say is that there is HOPE. Hope is what keeps one going. I do not have a crystal ball to tell the future, but from my experience, things DID get better - but I needed to persist and just sit in the hardest places.

I'm with you,

Re: My Mosaic

Another one here @Bow who is proof that things can get better and stay better. After being suicidal on and off all my life, I haven't had any SI now for 14 years and my trauma is also healed a lot, enough for me to get on with my life and enjoy it (despite 6 ongoing MIs and a few chronic physical illnesses too). I'm 50 now.

Re: My Mosaic

How do you know when you are at the point of crisis? And that you need to do something before you do something that can’t be taken back? Before you act impulsively?
i seen my case manager this afternoon. She just checked in on all levels…, eating, drinking, exercise, mood, sleep, meds. All that stuff.
She wanted to take me to hospital, I said no. I know I’ve been there before I know I know the answer but my head won’t tell me. It’s got too much other loud stuff inside. Im sorry.
